- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 March 2021YOU CAN MAKE THIS LAMP DIMMABLE ! 100%When I brought this lamp and turned it on it was far to bright with its clear shade.The company who sold them said YOU CAN NOT MAKE THEM DIMMABLE the only way is get a 2 Watt lamp but that was so small it looked silly. So I went on Amazon and saw this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dimmer-Adjustable-Light-Control-Switch/dp/B01G1WEKW4/ref=sr_1_4?crid=P76U3FKFOSU0&dchild=1&keywords=plug+in+dimmer+switch+for+lamps&qid=1614690640&s=diy&sprefix=plug+in+dimmer+switch%2Cdiy%2C178&sr=1-4You take out the bulb replace it with a Dimmable LED filament Bulb fit into to the lamp then plug the lamp plug into the Plug in Dimmer which you have pluged into the wall socket then . Then I can adjust the amount of light coming out the lamp and it is Great Lamp now able to adjust the light from full brightness to dim it low for effect

Excellent value for money and look really classy and expensive. If you are thinking of buying one then go ahead, you won’t be disappointed.In a previous review someone said the glass is wobbly because it sits on top. Ignore that. There is a really well made metal part that you unscrew, then you put the glass shade on and then screw the metal part back on again to hold the glass on. There are also three screws that you screw in that further holds the glass steady. It is impressively well thought out and well made.I love it.

Easy to assemble and it gives a fair bit of light off too. Probably too much for a bedroom but perfect for a cosy lounge corner. It looks as stylish turned off as it does on. My only gripe would be minor imperfections with small bubbles in the glass. I’m not sure whether mine is a manufacturing anomaly but it’s probably something I won’t notice beyond the first inspection. It would be great if the glass bowls came in a choice of smokier colours too. Great value for money all in all.

- What is the lowest led bulb i can use with this lamp or do you sell like a smokey glass shade for this lamp so to take the glare away.With this lamp you can use anything less than 4w LED or less than 40w if using Halogen. Sadly, we do not have this lamp that comes with a smoky glass shade, we only have it in clear glass.
- 'in line on/off switch' is poor english and unclear. i take it that it means: the switch is on the cable.Yes on cable, but a long way from base of light, I shortened the switch, worth doing as it's a well made, and good looking light.
- What lower watage bulb can I use please as this new wattage system is news to me can put a dimmer on this lamp?The maximum wattage of bulb you can use with this lamp is 4w when using LED or 40w if using halogen. Please note the lamp comes complete with a 4w LED bulb. You sadly cant use it with a dimmer but you can use it with a timer.
- Would you sell just the shade?This item is sold as a complete unit. So, we are not able to sell the shades individually.
