***AVOID*** Dishwasher safe only if you don’t care what they look like
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2018
Look at the pictures. They claim it’s dishwasher safe. But not unless you want a a silver raw aluminium finish all over the pans after a few washes on your brand new premium Pan set. Not good to look at. I tried to contact the seller and pointed out the issue but all they said was “this isn’t our problem, we gave the 30 day amazon guarantee so please take it up with the manufacturer” shocking customer service.

    The same but different....
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 July 2020
These were purchased to replace the "same" make and model that were originally purchased 10 years ago to maintain a set. While they still seem to be perfectly fit for purpose, and look the same, they also seem to have been "value engineered" some what in the last 10 years, with a handle of much lower perceived quality than they once were, it does make me think what other aspects of the design might have been "managed" that might affect longevityThey do the job they were design for nicely, but if I had my time again, and had realised the handle change I would not have made the purchase.

Proper Anolon and hard anodised. The best.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2017
These are proper pans and will last you years. I recently purchased what I believed to be the same as I bought ten years ago, sanctioned by Raymond Blanc. Wrong. I have reviewed Raymond Blanc pans separately and it's not good reading. These are proper Anolon hard anodised pans and will last ten years of good use. Treat them with care using wooden utensils and hand wash and they will give you limitless use. These are advertised as dishwasher proof but I personally would not do that. You would never consider putting a Wusthof knife in a dishwasher so why a quality pan? These are the best in my opinion and they are in constant use every day.

Heavy base and easy to cleam
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2020
I bought two sets of these pans after using my daughter's for a few days as mine are almost the same. They are fantastic! Even when I left one on slightly too long the burnt food slipped off with a quick wash in soapy water. Retains heat well and handles stay cool Only one drawback. The handles of the pan lids are much to hot to handle and require the use of a cloth to lift them. Bad design I think. My daughters pan lids don't suffer this drawback.

    Still good pans
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 July 2021
As others have mentioned, the pans are thinner than the older versions they have replaced. Also the milk pan has lower sides than the original milk pan. The reduced metal thickness means that the pans are less heavy, which is an advantage for anyone with weak hands or wrists. Hopefully they will last as well as the previous pans did. The lid handles do get too hot to handle without a cloth or oven glove. This happens slightly earlier than with the previous set of Anolon pans.

    Pans may wear very badly
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 November 2020
Just like what has happened with a few other reviewers, one of my three pans has started degrading after cleaning in a dishwasher. The inside of the pan is fine, but the outside looks like it is 20 years old. This is after only two months' home use on an electric hob (not induction). Amazon have issued a replacement set - no quibbles, great customer service - lets see if the new set fairs any better. For now two stars - light and easy to cook with, lid handles a bit too warm during use, they just don't wear like a set of pans with a lifetime guarantee.

Similar price to Teflon but much better made and versatile.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 June 2019
Way better than the Teflon ones I bought many times before. Don’t get me wrong, Teflon offer great pans in the mid price range. But a year ago I needed a good frying pan so upgraded to a le creuset. It looked good, was fairly pricey but the surface didn’t last at all. I was so frustrated. Then a friend recommended Anolon. That frying pan is the best I’ve ever had and roughly the same price as Teflon, with the added bonus of being made completely of metal so can be safely put under their grill too.Long story short, this experience steered me towards this set of pans. Excellent.

    NOT SUITABLE FOR INDUCTION
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 June 2020
The comparison on Amazon said that these pans were suitable for induction hobs but they are aluminium and won't work on induction hobs. Pity because they are good value for money and good looking pans, well packaged

    Brilliant cookware!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 March 2019
This is our 2nd set of Anolon cookware. The previous one was starting to wear after 13 years. (And we paid double this then) We love it so much, we bought it again. Difficult things such as oatmeal and scrambled eggs come right out with little or no effort. We bought a less expensive set for our son to take to uni and the difference was night and day so, we got him Anolon now as well. The only downside is the lack of silicone on the handles and lids. They can get a bit hot! “Ovgloves” or silicon sleeves are good for that.

The handles on the lids get extremely hot.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 January 2019
A nice saucepan set, but let down by the handles getting hot. They are easy to clean, but not the type to throw in the sink, as easy to scratch.Invest in silicone utensils if you don't already have, as these are needed to protect the non stick interior.

Customer questions and answers

  • are they dishwashebl?
They claim they are, but any cookware pans over time will deteriorate. Why pay all that money to do that. Handwashing is best
  • Oven safe ? Has anyone tried these in an oven ? How did they get on ?
Hi This range is suitable for the oven up to 260° and they all work fine - hope this helps - Chris
