Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2019Great heaterI bought this for winter as the heater in my apartment didn’t seem to be doing the job fast enough. But this little heater worked great. It warmed the room in a matter of minutes. I never had it turned on for too long because it just wasn’t needed, it warmed the room up so quickly I was too warm and had to turn it off before it’d been on for any significant length of time.I’d definitely recommend it for smaller rooms. The room I used it in was about 30 square meters and it worked great. I’m not sure how it’ll do on it’s own since I used it alongside my radiator to supplement the heat, but it did it’s job good enough for me
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 November 2020Dangerous! Be careful of this product!I received this very quickly, so a positive thumbs up for quick delivery. However, as of this moment, this is going straight back in the box and being returned!Having opened the box, first impressions were that it seems small and lightweight.Secondly, very flimsy and cheaply made. I attached the two feet, plugged it into my office room, which is at the back of the house and gets very cold.I set the timer on my phone for 15 minutes to test the effectiveness of the heat which I have to say was quite impressive.I then went to turn it off and there was a loud bang and a spark at the switch, which I found out shortly after, had also blown the main circuit and disabled all of the plug sockets in my house!!My suspicions were confirmed - a cheap piece of crap, made in China, overpriced for what it was and a bad purchase! It's on it's way back immediately - just be careful of this product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 December 2018Good heater and ideal for smart plugsthis heater works good. Have it in my sons log cabin and heats up very quickly. Being the winter it is on low and the thermostat works just fine. I put ours on a smart plug so I can oporate via my phone. Ideal heater for smart plugs.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2018The best heater everWhen I got the parcel, I was surprised by its HUGE size. The heater is protected very well. The feet are easy to assemble. My room became warm in 5 seconds. The weather is getting colder and colder. The heater is highly recommended to buy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 February 2020RubbishI bought two of these heaters one for mine and my daughters bedrooms as don't have any heating at the moment and thinking that they would produce more heat than the 2 small halogen heaters we have but I was wrong, had both on for over an hour and barely produced any heat and both were on the highest setting, tried a few more times and still hardly any heat, I get more heat from our little halogen heaters plus these heaters use up a fair bit of electricity which is really annoying when you're on an electric meter and the feet don't attach properly to the base as there aren't enough holes for the screws and they are hard to screw in. I'm returning mine and going to buy more expensive ones. Don't buy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2018Budget and durabilityAs for the size of my student studio flat, it's really warm on the 750 w, I did use it for 1250 w but was too warm for me :) Not the best but it's really durable and decent product, thanks thou.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2019Very good!Honestly, was pleasantly surprised for the money I spent on this heater! The heat that blasts from this is amazing. Very easy to work, I have it in my big garden shed while I’m on my running machine and it works instantly to heat up. I looked through others on amazon and I’m so glad I went with this one!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2018Great Little Heater!I Love This Little Heater, Warms Up Quickly, Looks Good, Feels Good And Is Safe.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 December 2020DOES NOT WORK!!!!I bought this heater for my daughter's room. It turns on occasionally, but even on full settings it turns itself off when the room is still cold. It was a month after buying it that we actually needed the heater for the first time, and by that time it was past the return date.Do not buy as it does not do what it is designed to.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2019Not what it said it was!Said in the description that it could be wall mounted - WRONG! It did have little slits but they were not horizontal so couldn't be hung. The sellers were understanding and it went back.I'm sure that, had it been able to be wall hung, we would have kept it!
Customer questions and answers
- how to assmeble the feet as there are no screw holesTurn the fire upside down, you should have four silver screws with the fire, hold the feet on the fire and put one screw at a time into the foot through to the fire, there should be lined up screw holes, once first screw is in it should be easy to line up second screw hole and put the other screw.
- Where are the screws? They're not in the box.they could be in situ where the feet screw onto the body
- I have this heater and it is 3 x 0.75mm^2 cable yet 2kw rating. 2000w / 220v = 9.1a. is this safe as it is also protected by a 13a fuseIf the heater was throwing out continual heat like an electric fire I should imagine that there would be concerns about the conductor size. However, the heater will switch itself off once the selected temperature has been reached.
- does it have a warranty?i have it from march and now the one button of 1250w does not work...Hi, All goods in this country carry at least one year warranty and you are covered by the sale of goods act. Contact who you purchased it from and inform them of the problem, if they try to get out of it just point out the sale of goods act to them. Hope this helps.
