  Best Pillow Ever

  I bought this pillow after having many pillows go flat on me after only 3 months of use. I've only had this pillow for a little while, but after sleeping on it with wet hair for many nights, I've seen no sign of flattening. I bought two because I normally use two, but I only need one. I find memory foam pillows too firm and regular foam pillows too flat and soft, but this one is perfect. My head sinks in but I still have neck support. It's like sleeping on a cloud. The cold side is actually cold! It's perfect for me, whose body temperature changes all the time while sleeping. I also love how soft the warm side is. Honestly, the only complaint I have is that I can no longer get out of bed in the morning and keep falling back asleep.

  This pair of "BedStory Pillows of 2, Sleeping Pillows with Polyester Fiber Filling for Side/Back/Stomach Sleepers, Bamboo Charcoal Luxurious Pillows for Pain Relief, Anti-Dust, Washable Standard Pillows (42x70CM)" is smaller than standard and should be compatible with any pillowcase but not too small (hopefully avoiding a problem).As is now common, the pillows are supplied vacuum-packed and quite flat to minimise their bulk for transport. They will need to be allowed to slowly expand to normal depth over a day or two or, if time is pressing primped, patted, coerced and pumped to dramatically reduce the time to a minimum. Even then, their appearance is that they are less fully-filled than the product page illustration may suggest and are extremely soft in consequence. On the plus side, although smaller than standard, they fit well within normal pillowcases without any obvious excess in the covers.Unusually, the pillows' own covering is silver-grey rather than the more common white but may help hide any grime. It also uses bamboo fibre which reputedly helps wick any moisture away from the filling - a similar covering is known from another pillow pair (but not very comfortable) and apparently worked well. The filling is said to be polyester fibre but not necessarily hollow-fill. Quite how satisfactory they will be long-term will need at least two weeks to fully assess.Pricing is very comparable to others while packaging is not - material was used to excess by all parties involved.Once apparently fully expanded, they continued to lack loft and substance and, while feeling heavy within the packaging, later felt light and insubstantial. They failed to provide support or comfort and denied sleep all night! Attempting to sleep on one was a failure as a Kleenex tissue offers about as much support; piling both one on the other was no less successful as they were then too high but curiously also too firm. As they are so minimally filled, they are very poor value at the almost £30 paid and would probably not represent good value at £5.They are very probably the worst pair of pillows yet purchased.

  These pillows are beautiful on the outside and very soft and comfortable. I like the 10% bamboo in the cover.They do NOT get as high as the photos in the description show! Luckily for me I like them small when on my back and can put one on top of the other for when I am on my side.I like how they are washable, however I haven't washed them yet so can't tell you yet how they will turn out afterwards. Are they good value for money? Not sure. The fact that you get two then maybe, however the biggest reasons I got these were for their softness (which checks that box), but also for the coolness. The description mentions them regulating temperature. Being not too hot or cold. Well I run hot and my face was hot after only a few minutes on the pillow. No real dispersement of heat away from me. So that was a disappointment.

  Too thin. Provide no support. Pictures and reviews are deceptive.

  I am very disappointed with these pillows. Although they appear to be reasonably well made, and are very soft, they are incredibly thin and provide little to no support. The pictures in the description are deceptive as they make the pillows appear much fuller than they are in reality.Also, upon delivery of the pillows, I received an email asking me to write a review with the promise of a free gift. I did this and sent them a screenshot of my review, which rated the pillows at 3 stars (I was being favourable in my review since the pillows may be comfortable for people who prefer thinner pillows). However, they responded by asking me to change my review to 4 or 5 stars before they would send me the "gift". I feel that this is a very dishonest way of getting reviews as this is essentially buying high ratings, which would further mislead potential buyers.I lowered my review to 2 stars in response to this and included the reason why. Later I received another email asking for me to undo this change.Ultimately, I feel the pillows lack substance and the description and many of the reviews are deceptive.

  Don’t make the photo look good online when product is not what people see when they receive it

  Hello I’m disappointed because the product it’s not what I expected and what I see in the photo, in the photo it looks good and like pumped well with the material inside but in reality it’s always flat , material inside goes to one side leaving others parts empty, it’s not a memory form like they say. I’m really disappointed ?, so I have to spend money to buy others! Compare the photo I sent you with the photo on Amazon. Thanks

  Great quality, really comfortable

  We needed a pair of pillows, for the sofa bed in our holiday home, fairly quickly - as we had forgotten about them and had guests staying the following weekend. I had bought pillows from BedStory, previously, and knew they were good quality, so I looked to see what they had. I wanted 'hotel quality', but at a reasonable price. These fitted that bill, so I ordered quickly to make sure we had them in time. As with the previous ones, these are very good quality and very comfortable to the touch. Our guests said they slept very well and found them comfortable, too, so job done.

Firstly, I technically got these for free with a deal bedstory currently has with the purchase of a double mattress. So no money lost here luckily.Pros first: They are very soft, the covers feel like microfiber (not sure what they are exactly) but they're very nice to touch.The sewing is very neat, no spare threads and gerally the covers feel nicely made. Visually the grey is aesthetically pleasing too. Fit my regular pillow cases well, size runs normal for me at least.Cons: No support. I'm generally not picky at all, I appreciated getting a deal on these because I need to replace my ancient supermarket brand pillows, which honestly provide more support than these new ones. I just got these so I can't say about the wadding inside moving about, but my feeling it... Seems like it could be an issue, I don't know how these would survive a wash without going lumpy on one end. Not sure if others have reviewed after washing but I'd suggest hand washing to be safe!Overall: I'm only happy with these because they were free, I'd pay perhaps £5 for them, they can be pretty and soft but if there's no support what's the point. I'd treat them like a mattress topper, I've got my old pillows underneath and these new ones on top, nice and soft extra layer but you need the actual support of something better under them.Unless you have a real need for extremely soft pillows and don't care for support, I'd give these a miss.(I've seen a couple reviews expecting these to be memory foam? They definitely aren't and aren't advertised as such, those people may not have read the info correctly but that's one thing I can't blame the company for)I'll stick to their mattresses!

  Expensive but comfy.

  I was quite concerned when the pillows arrived, I though good lord they are useless!! that I'd paid so much money for what looked like pillow shams. Then I got them out the packaging, they fluffed up, but I still thought...they're too soft.However, after the first night sleeping on them...wow . They are pretty soft, but that's maybe what I needed my sleeps have improves massively. No more neck ache or soreness. .lovely.Expensive yes, but no price on comfort. Great buy

  At first I was hesitant guys because I love my pillows really puffy and big but honestly this is one of the BEST pillows I have purchased. Ive slept like a baby with it and so has my younger brother! I gave him the other pillow. It comes in a pack of 2. Amazing! And comfortable.

  Reviews are a personal statement for the individual and this is my personal review. I have been searching for the 'perfect' pillow for years - but I guess it doesn't exist for ME ?? My face & head get hot when sleeping and consequently I get restless sleep. This product had many positive reviews and I decided to take a chance and purchase the item. Sadly for me, it wasn't any better than my previous pillows that are feather based and memory foam etc etc. I have tried all sorts of pillows that make claims to suit me but nothing has solved my sleeping problem. So, the search goes on ............
