- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 October 2021They seem good, so farSo far, these pillows seem to be very good, having survived some extreme vacuum packing that involved them being bent double and having most of the life sucked out of them. I have always understood that duvets and pillows with feather fillings should never be vacuum packed as it breaks the shafts of the feathers, which weakens them and results in an impact on longevity and potentially feathers clumping together and producing lumps, which isn’t great for ongoing comfort. It is too soon to tell if there has been such an impact with these, but they don’t appear to have been adversely affected so far.Once shaken and allowed to air, the pillows do start to take on a proper shape and fluff up well. There isn’t any odour from having been sealed in plastic, so they are ready to use within 24 hours. They offer good support at this stage, although are likely to soften up a bit over time.The pillows are well stitched with a premium double seam that I haven’t seen on alternatives available at this price point, so they do appear to be a quality product. I just hope they last as they should despite that vacuum packing. I will let you know of any problems.

Fluff them up, give 'em a squeeze and a cuddle then let them air out and they come back to their full size.They are so well made, with strong stitching and lovely 100% cotton fabric.But the very best thing about them is this: I remember being a kid and having feather pillows and feeling the feathers being all mean and pokey... if you caught a feather poke in the night, you definitely felt it. But with these, there isn't anything pokey or mean in there - they are so soft and firm and comfortable and lovely and, honestly, we've paid more than £39.99 for one pillow before, and here you get the pair.Cannot recommend them highly enough. (Just be careful to buy a hypoallergenic pillow protector if you have any sort of allergy to feathers.)

At first they felt very flat, but after I fluffed and left the pillows for couple of hours to get their original shape – they were fine.I couldn’t find any fault with these pillows upon closer inspection.The stitching is good, with double lines no feather can escape in near future.The outer material is 100% cotton and inside is 90% grey duck feather and 10% grey duck down – according to the label. I like that I could not feel any hard feather parts sticking out.They are light weight and medium soft, not too thick and not too thin. They are not too fluffy, however they give really good support.Overall, as a stomach sleeper I approve these pillows as they are not too fluffy and feel comfortable to sleep on.

Given a short time, they fill out and expands to their full size. Shake and plump. There was no smell or anything unlike some pillows have. It's 90% duck feather and 10% down with a 100% cotton cover. The feathers are all contained in the pillows, none sticking other poking out anywhere, with the cover stitched well. They fit standard pillow cases with ease. They feel really comfortable and supportive. I've always had feather pillows and really like these. Perfect all rounder, for back, side, stomach sleepers, I constantly change position throughout the night. Looks and feels of excellent quality. They are even machine washable. Really pleased with them.

They can go straight on the bed - they don’t smell of plastic.They are well made out of close-woven fabric, with neat, firm double seams around the edge to stop the feathers escaping.They are comfortable to sleep on - if you are used to a foam pillow, you will find them less bouncy/springy, because that is the nature of feathers.I am very happy to have these pillows, and have retired two of my old ones in their favour.

The first time I used I had the best night's sleep for ages! The pillows are soft and fluffy but still offer good support. I didn't experience any issues with the pillows shedding feathers. They are a beautiful quality pair of pillows and well worth the money!

I have been using these for about a week now, they do seem to hold their feathers very well with none so far working there way out. I really love a feather pillow - just so comfortable.
