- Do you need to use a coaster or is it ok for hot/cold drinks to be placed on it?This table is extremly well made and strong. I personally use coasters. However, the wooden top is very robust, so I don't think there would be a problem to put hot items directly on it.
- Is the metal shelf removable?It is, as there are 2 screws at the bottom of each leg holding it in place. Once removed the legs would be slightly less stable at the bottom as the shelf holds the 4 legs together there would also be holes in the legs but you could just remove the shelf and glue the screws into the empty holes. Should be ok.
- What is the measurement of the gap between the grid shelf and the top - would a 42cm tall PC tower fit?NO it would not fit a 42cm tower as it measures 36cm from metal grid shelf to metal support frame and 38cm from metal grid shelf to the underside of the table top.
