It has a thicker table top than I expexted and has little attachments for the bottom of the legs to stop wobbles on uneven floors. Excellent value for money. You could seat 4 around it but it would be cosy. I've had it a few weeks now and no problems have arisen. It has a light texture and so woukd be difficult to scratch i would imagine.
