  Good customer service

  My initial order was faulty, after spending a lot of time trying to assemble it , it was clear it had a manufacturing fault. I contacted the seller by email and had a response almost immediately. They arranged to uplift the unit from my house as it was very heavy and then reordered a replacement. I was slightly impatient for the replacement as it took almost 2 weeks, however whenever I contacted the seller for an update they always got back to me immediately and were always informative and very sorry for any inconvenience I was experiencing. The new unit arrived yesterday, and construction was relatively simple. The customer service from this seller is excellent.

  As far as 'flat pack' furniture goes, this Von Haus rustic range is great. I've purchased the matching set, sideboard, coffee table & side table. It's a joy to assemble! Unlike any other flat packed furniture I've purchased, the hardware (screws/ fasteners etc) are all bagged up separately and organised alphabetically. Usually all of the hardware is just chucked into one large bag, leaving you to sort through it all. The 'wood effect' timber is great quality for this type/priced furniture, it feels really premium compared to some other cheap vinyl coated chipboard furniture pieces. I was on a budget and wasn't expecting much from this purchase, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Fantastic value for money and an honest product. You won't be disappointed!

  Pretty table with tiny instructions

  Item arrived very quickly, started to assemble it right away. The instruction booklet was quite tiny so it was sometimes hard to see which part went where but the table was up and ready in about an hour. I was assembling alone.The finished table was a tad wobbly, but sturdy enough for my liking. Enough storage for a console table. Beautiful texture and tone on the wood(?). Some of the screws were a little too long for their intended purpose, so you might end up denting the metal parts if you're not being careful! The table is surprisingly heavy, so carrying it to upstairs by myself was a little difficult but now it sits nicely on its place on top of the stairs!Overall a nice purchase, might be just a little overpriced in my opinion considering some of the points made earlier. Still a very beautiful table that suits my decor very well.

  Disappointing

  Probably overall good value for money given the price, but nonetheless I was disappointed. There's nothing to stop the unit wobbling from side to side. A couple of diagonal struts at the back would have prevented that. Granted I haven't secured mine to the wall as recommended, but who wants to do that? Means you can't move it.Self assembly instructions just about readable - could do with bigger and clearer diagrams

  Nice console table - But.......

  This is a nice piece of furniture to look at but have not been able to fit the drawer and instructions not easy to follow.The instructions are all pictures which is great if they were bigger print. One of the pre set holes in the metal frame was not in line - I do not have the equipment to drill metal so have had to leave one of the leg bolts out. The drawer mechanism (although fitted as instructions) holds the drawer too high so did not close flush. I have decided to use the drawer with out the mechanism.

  This is a lovely piece of furniture. My husband had no difficulty assembling. The size was perfect for my porch. I viewed the piece on another well known site but found Amazon’s price considerably cheaper. Well worth the five stars I have given.

  Quick delivery, great size, great price

  This hallway console table is big enough for phone, lamp, keys, but not so big it takes over the hall. The black tube work is a nice feature and the angled front too. One big drawer is handy, but shallow enough that you can't hoard things. Really pleased. Delivered in super quick time and left safely. Great exprience all round. Thanks.

  Don't buy as its terrible quality

  Instructions were totally wrong for this item and parts didn't corespond.Poorly fitting parts where holes are missing in the metal tubing so had to leave bolts out. And others are missaligned which made it a nightmare to put together

  Absolutely amazing unit, very easy to assemble, bits all labelled and individual bags for screws etc.Found I had pieces missing, contacted seller and it was sorted immediately, very good customer service. Can’t recommend highly enough. Sturdy and good quality. Amazing value for the price. And looks beautiful!!
