However although it looks like genuine wood it is in fact plastic!! It should say 'Oak Coloured) Can't tell by looking at it though - and I'm still really pleased with it (AND its easy to keep clean). Looks great, very unusual and great value for money (can be fiddly to assemble shelf bit, but still worth it).

Not sure if it just needs taking apart and adjusting of if it is just the way it is. Looks great though and is exactly what I wanted.

- How high is the glass shelf from the floor?Hi. Yes the glass is about 1cm thick. The underneath side of the glass is 55cm from the floor, and the top of the glass is 56cm from the floor. I hope this helps. Kate
