- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 August 2019watch out for missing screw holesI was delighted with the item, however very poor assembly instructions, pictorial only no explanations, be prepared to drill extra screw holes to mount bottom shelf support brackets and top lifting mechanism ok if you know what you are doing and have the equipment, it is also a two person job to fit the table top, however I am very pleased with the item as a whole.

We did not find the instructions clear, all parts were there but it was not clearly indicated nor all the steps were in the right order. Table works well and is the right height for either eating or working on the laptop.

Can’t get the brackets screwed in as no holes and don’t have the tools to do guide holes. The last drawing explaining what to doesn’t really help

Slightly more difficult to return to a coffee table as it is very stiff and the base slides on the floor. Hopefully will ease with use. It is pretty sturdy with useful storage elements.Laminate not quite as wood-like as I'd hoped but reasonable for the price.

We found it quite straight forward to construct and after having it for 4 months have had no issue with the lifting mechanics. A great and stylish storage solution for small homes!

Would be 5 stars however the mechanism was really hard to install as there are no holes drilled, so if you don't own a drill you will have a hard time screwing straight into the material, for which the average hands might not be enough.Otherwise, it boasts a big storage space, which is not obvious from outside, and the colour of the veneer is nice.If you're on the short side, you can use a desk chair or a table chair to write on it, but for me it was too low, as I am 6ft. Good value for money.

- What is the clearance under the bottom shelf? Wondering if I can get the hoover under!There’s not much room for the hoover - I have a cordless shark and that doesn’t fit. It’s around 5cm.
