It feels like a thin layer of cotton separating your bottom with the fragile wood underneath. But like I said, you get what you paid for. It costs just over 100 pounds...........so..........But another amazing thing is, they have stored the legs and the crappy arm rest inside the sofa of which you have to flip the sofa upside down, use a knife to cut open the fabric to find the zipper and eventually pull the things out one by one. Mind you that this is all done without one piece of instruction given in the box, you just have to guess if that is the right place to get the parts. Amazing.......

Contacted seller again and they said they would send the correct legs within 3 days...waited in for 3 days for legs to arrive and on the 3rd day seller sent another message saying legs would arrive within 2 days so they expected me to wait in for another 2 days. Had to get Amazon involved to sort this shambles out. The Futon looked nice but can't use it without the legs if it had come with the legs I would have been happy with it as it looks sturdy and strong.

We put it in a studio whose colours are black and grey and people compliment us... however is not comfortable for the night. You can feel the scaffold under your body. I think I will buy an additional mattress to put over if any guest comes.
