I am using as a dining bench - however just wish the back was higher as it is quite low.Friends have really complimented the look .

The back is very upright, and the base shallow so it does not support your knees. So its now on eBay.If youre looking for a bench seat to use with a breakfast table then likley this will be fine, but for sitting on for any length of time its very uncomfortable, so can't really recommend.

The only thing that I didn't like was the strong smell of chemicals for about a month, not sure if it is for fire safety but not pleasant.

- Is this suitable as a dining bench/seat? Sofas tend to be slightly lower and not made for dining table height, is this different?I have two of these sofas and they are very comfortable as dining sofa seats. Everyone wants to sit on them at the table.
