- How heavy is each blockI don't know I used metal cavity fixings these have 4 legs that expand behind the plaster board they are good mine also hold a very heavy clock and photo frame and still stay on the wall. Just one tip use a slightly smaller drill bit than stated I find these fixings hold better, if you ever need to remove the fixings put the screw just in the nut knock the screw in this will re-straighten the 4 legs and pull out the whole fixing, less wall damage. see less
