A Solid oak beam, Mantel or Shelf with a top quality rustic natural finish,6" shelf, complete with a pair of large oak corbels. The beam comes machined for and including 3 heavy duty concealed brackets. 1000s have been sold to happy customers throughout the UK. The Beams Pictured are a good representation of the beam you would be purchasing PLEASE NOTE splits and cracks may become larger and longer as the beam adjusts to its new environment .This is not seen as a defect and should only add to its rustic charm.

The only criticism i would like to make, and this wouldn't necessarily be the same for everyone, i DID click on the picture where the photo showed a more rustic image, and i would have liked it more rough looking. But that's personal taste, and i can have it made to look like that. Its a little too beautiful for me!!!! But lovely and worth the money. Thank you.

- would you say this is a very similar colour to corona furnitureOur beams are brighter and more pattern in the grain.
- Does it have to be a solid wall to fix it to?If you’re opt for a long piece of wood better the chance of spreading the load you can get pretty good fasting these days but if over a fire place like ours when it gets hot on chimney breast (or even warm) plastic wall plugs will melt and lose fitting best get fiver or drill holes and bang in wood!
