Natural oak colour with 6" Shelf and 4" thick 47" long. A Solid oak rustic beam, Mantel or Shelf with a rustic natural finish, lots of uses and top quality.The beam comes machined for and including 2 heavy duty concealed brackets. 1000s have been sold to happy customers throughout the UK. The Beams pictured are a good representation of what you would be purchasing, however as a natural product there may be knotts, cracks ect, which all add to the rustic look and are not defects but a addition to the uniqueness of your oak beam. .PLEASE NOTE splits and cracks may become larger and longer as the beam adjusts to its new environment.This is not seen as a defect and should only add to its rustic charm.

It needs a good diy-er to install just because of the weight and the need to get support bolts set at the right place - my husband did it, carefully, but I would have struggled. Really pleased with how it looks. The firm were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

- Can this be fitted easily and securely to a concrete fireplace ?Yes these can be fitted to concrete fireplaces securely.It is fairly straightforward diy but if in doubt seek the help of a professional.
- How heavy are these please?Quite heavy, solidly made but manageable
- Is this item 47 inch or 1300mmWe do various sizes I think the one you’re looking at is the 47”.It will state the size on the listing.
- Does anyone fit or install these?not that i know but there are only 2 brackets to drill and the bracket is rebated into the back edge of shelf so cant go wrong but when installed looks great give it a try you will be delighted with the outcome
