- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2018Will tip over if you lean sideways!Seat not quite deep enough to be really comfortable for long for an adult (and i am quite slim) but lovely looking chair, But beware of leaning sideways on this chair it will tip over, -especially take care if you want a child to use it

The parts are extremely well protected - it took almost as long to unpack each part as it did to assemble the stool. A two person team is recommended for its assembly. This is nonsense. I am female, in my 70s and managed it in about 12 minutes. Screws and alum key supplied. The instructions are simple to follow. It is very comfortable with its padded seat. I had worried it might be a little too big, but this isn’t the case. Swivels smoothly. My only criticism is that I would have liked the footrest to have been a bit larger.

Since the kitchen has a white and grey colour scheme these stools were the perfect accompaniment to my kitchen. They were very easy to assemble and once built had a reassuringly well built quality - I feel these stools will last a good amount of time.We use these stools to eat not just breakfast but dinner too and they are comfortable enough to sustain a longer sitting than for a breakfast. Having arm rests and a back is critical for this comfort as is the quality of the PU leather. Having a 13 month old in the house means I wanted something that was hard wearing and easy to clean and these have both those attributes. Very happy with my purchase

You can’t sit on it without it toppling over. Not worth the money even if you’re not planning on sitting on it. Now I’ve got to deal with the inconvenience of sending it back. Not impressed!

Yes as one person said the seat could be a little deeper, but I'm no skinny Minnie and it works for me ,and very good value for money

However I find the seat a tad small in that I would have preferred it to be longer ie it really only covers mid thigh whereas my preference would be like an office chair. If the back could be moved back it would have suited me. I think it's more suited to occasional use..but that's just my opinion.

They have changed the size of the base for some reason and so I had to purchase a bigger base as they looked ridiculous stood side by side. Also a tiny shade darker which is really annoying when the others were only bought last year!!!

It’s perfect for what I wanted, I just have to make sure not to lean down sideways to reach for anything.

I am very fussy when it comes to furniture in my new home and this beautiful chair meets my highly expectations.

- Hi how to remove the cap in the gas liftJust twist it off. If its too tight, use a rubber measure (for grip) and turn it.

- Are these still sold as a pair?Yes I believe they are sold as pairs. I bought my daughter 3 and kept one for myself.
- Purchased bar stool end of may 20. it has been great until now. the gas lift now randomly lowers completely without warning? anyone else had this?not yet but the gas cylinder when we first purchased was faulty & we had to obtain a replacement.
