It is reclined using a Electric Motor Recliner Mechanism and combined with foam arms and pillow back support enables you to really sink into the recliner for hours. And the supportive seating gives comfort and support where it's needed the most. This model offers soft padding, excellent lumbar support and full chaise seating. Electric Recline Functionality: To operate the electric recliner mechanism simply press one of the two buttons located on the right hand side of the recliner. This will automatically start rising the footrest first, once the footrest comes to a certain height then the back will automatically start to recline for total ease of use. To return the chair to its original or riser position, you simply press the opposite button.Specification:

This electric one is just the ticket, good smooth action and no problems so far, she loves it. No extra charge for N. Ireland delivery either and the delivery was prompt. Just slide on the chair backs, plug it in and away you go! Very comfortable.

- what are the dimensions of the delivery boxes of the seattle electric leather automatic recliner armchair sofa home lounge chair?Sorry I cannot remember the dimensions of the boxes. The packaging was very good and protected the chair parts. They were unloaded for delivery to us by one man who handled everything for us to the room of our choice. Sorry I cannot be more specific, but hope this helps.
- Does the footrest come up completely before the back starts to recline?It does just the last second the back starts to recline
