This model is upholstered in high-quality, linen fabric, and can easily be reclined using a Pushback Recliner Mechanism. For added comfort, the chair comes with cotton filling and a sturdy frame so you can sit and relax for hours. Plus, it?s available in two gorgeous shades; grey and pumice.
Pushback Mechanism Functionality;
To operate the Pushback mechanism, place your hands on the armrests of the recliner and push forward on the arms as you lean backwards using your bodyweight to recline the chair. As the back reclines, the footrest will rise in unison. When you want to return to the upright position, gently push the footrest down with your legs and the chair will lock back into place. This chair works by using your body weight - as you lean your shoulders forward, the chair will return to its original upright position including the back of the recliner. And once the chair is locked into place, you can sit up and enjoy the Eppleworth in its original position.

Easy to put together, filling firm but supportive and so comfy. It took longer to get out of the box than put together. Needed a comfy sit down and got one. I would recommend this all the way.

The chair arrived well packaged and on the quoted delivery day. The chair was very easy to put together - just screw in 4 small legs, slide in the backrest & press home the Velcro covers. The chair seems to be of very good quality and the recliner mech works great and I particularly like the firmer seat & backrest (which is why I chose this one) & it’s extremely comfortable. I’m absolutely delighted with the chair & wouldn’t hesitate recommending it.

Only change I've made is to add some sliders to the feet in place of the felt that's there, this makes them easier to move about. Fabric is excellent, and although firm they are supremely comfortable.

The chair is fantastic quality for the price paid - it's very sturdy, firm and unbelievably comfortable. The fabric is much better quality than I was expecting. The size is perfect, especially if you're tall. The push back recliner mechanism works very well, and again feels sturdy. It feels like it will stand the test of time better than most recliners, but time will tell. Very impressed! If you're looking for an affordable, modern, simplistic and stylish recliner armchair, I wouldn't look any further.

Purchaced for my nan as she wanted to renew similar chair she already had. She could not push it back, and when back couldn't push to close. You need to be strong to use as it is very heavy. Should come with warning not suitable for elderly frale customers. Even though I would say a chair like this tends to be bought by more elderly. We explained the situation to seller and they charged £40 for return which I find awful.

The most difficult thing was to dispose of the large boxes! Simple to assemble, needs two people to cope and manage. My husband and I, both over 80, managed to assemble two seats in one evening. Very comfortable. The only criticism is that the legs are a bit fragile and we are nervous about moving the seats. We have purchased furniture cups for them and this helps.
