Buckingham Electric Dual Rise Recliner Chair
The Buckingham Riser Recliner Chair features a Dual motor mechanism and has been designed for ease of use. A four-button controller enables you to independently move the soft foam padded backrest and footrest. The rise function will enable you to raise the chair to an almost standing position, making ideal for those who require assistance when transferring to or from the chair. Whilst the recline function allows you to adjust the chair to a comfortable snooze position for ultimate relaxation.
The Buckingham triple padded backrest allows ultimate comfort and has been finished in Leather Air upholstery for a modern and stylish appearance. In addition to its attractive appearance the Leather Air upholstery is breathable and warm to the touch as this is a fabric and contains no animal products it also provides a convenient wipe clean and durable surface.
All of our Recliners are supplied in two separate sections, the base and the backrest. This allows easy removal from the box and transport within the home, navigating doorways. Once situated, the backrest simply clips into the rear section of the base to allow instant relaxation and comfort in your new chair.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 May 2020The good, the bad and the uglyThe good.The chair comes in two large boxes, which went through my doors into the living room with no trouble.A reasonably strong able bodied person would find this very easy to assemble - just click the back rest into the seat, plug it in.The chair is very comfortable. As a reumatoid arthritis sufferer I found I could get it into a really comfortable position for my joints.The chair will go completely flat. I also love that the footrest and backrest move independently of one another, ie you can have the footrest up without the back going down as well.The motors are very quiet.The bad.Underneath the chair one of the electicity cables was threaded through one of the lifting joints, making it potentionally DANGEROUS if the scissoring motion had cut through the cable. Luckily the person who assembled my chair noticed & rearranged the cable.The seat is very narrow. If you are a larger person check the measurements carefully.I'm not sure how robust this chair is going to be, and don't know how long it's going to last. I will try to remember to update on this in a few months.The arms are low and narrow. I wish they were a bit broader so I could rest my book or my crossword puzzles on them.The ugly.It has now become obvious to me that all bonded leather is not created equally. I have two bonded leather sofas (from Argos) which look and smell like the real thing. This chair doesn't. It looks like it's made from shiny plastic. It looks really cheap. I have the brown chair and there are strange lighter coloured splotches on it which are not obvious In the picture. I just wish it had a uniform colour.The control looks cheap & plasticky. Again does not look robust.There is a strange smell, which is not entirely unpleasant - a bit like aftershave really, but definitely not leather. Hopefully it will go soon.Buyers may wish to know that the chair was made in China.

Full marks to delivery driver too, for carrying it all in to our lounge so that I could assemble it in situ. First class service and product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2020Good chair and colourDelivered a day earlier than expected, to where we wanted it to go. We did the assembly which was very easy for two people. The base is heavy but the back bit is light and clicks in easily. It is heavy to move but has two little wheels at the base that are very helpful.A little bit smaller than I expected and comfortable for me, but bigger customers need to check the dimensions.Also a bit softer than I prefer.My wife liked the colour which is a bit paler than in the photo, and seems to blend easily with other furniture around.The remote controls are good and easy to use. After a few days of use, this seems like a very good buy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2020Slippy when using the rise...beware.The chair comes in two boxes and the delivery man put them in the room I needed it. It is easy to put together, just slot the back to the seat. I chose the stone colour which I like.The chair is firm and the controls are on the right as is the pocket which is fine as long as your right handed or have full mobility on the right side.The downside I found was if you have a disability or condition which makes you unsteady...the material it is made of is slippy when you use the rise feature and it is easy to slide forward. If this is a concern you should get an upholstered chair which would give you more grip.I am happy with it for my needs.

But 1 man delivered the chair the box was wet through. He wouldn’t put it in my front room he said no sorry I can’t which was only 2 steps more. But the comfort and quality perfect

Husband is chuffed very = very = good value the price of the ones in the shop was out of my league . Only don't do as I did I bought them one click and the don't get ordered go through normal channel

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 March 2020un fit for useThis is a dangerous product , the ram is just about coming through the centre is of the seat, straight into the spine area, which is felt also when your sitting on the seat, the foot rests have never worked, yes you can get up quick, as the ram is pushing you up not the chair, or it does using the centre of the chair in an un supported area.

- my door entry and hallway are quite narrow, is the chairs two parts easily manouevredYes, we had to get the chair through two normal sized doorways. No problem. Its a lovely product and looks far more expensive than the price paid. We were more than happy.
- Is the leather splotchy?now ive looked at mine it is a little on the seat but hardly notisable ,elsware its perfect , it a lovely chair , worth bying , Bill.
- Does the foot rest independant of the recliine go fully horizontal it's hard to tell from the pictures?Yes................the foot rest does go fully out independantly. To recline the back is a seperate movement. Its a really comfy chair.
- How firm is the seat ? As I need it to be firm as I have just had a hip replacement.The seat is firm, I use it every day and it has remained firm and comfortable . I am very pleased with the chair but would of liked the seat to a bit wider. I would recommend the chair,ver good quality and value.
