Comfy and better than expected, and good value for money
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2020
First of all, this is a faux-leather chair. My expectations were not super high, but I needed something inexpensive but decent, and quickly so that my wife could recline in comfort following surgery. This has exceeded my expectations in that regard... it's very comfy and the pleather (or whatever they call it) looks ok and is soft and pleasant to the touch. The legs on the chair and footstool are, I presume, some kind of MDF, but they are heavy duty and close enough to solid wood for any casual observer. The assembly instructions were reasonably good, and it probably took me about an hour (I think) to get the chair and footstool put together. The box they came in was surprisingly small and I'd though there must be something missing but it's just very well organised! As others have mentioned, the massage is more of the "vibrate" variety.. rather than the high-end ones you find in shopping centres where there are things moving about under the material. Still, it's what I expected, and there are a good range of programs and power level settings so that you can make it focus on shoulders or lower back for instance. It's definitely nice, and relaxing, though it's not like having an actual massage :)The heat is great and separately controllable. The recliner doesn't slide into a full horizontal sleeping position, more of a very relaxed slump... but it's enough to sleep if you really want to.When you want to get out, the mechanism makes it quite easy to return to an upright position.Overall, I really like it, though I would prefer it to be a little bit softer and more padded / supportive, but it's the kind of chair where, several hours of sitting later, you're still comfortable... whereas some chairs are initially seemingly comfy and then after a while you start to ache.I've spent more on chairs that were nowhere near as good, so I continue to be very happy with this.

    Great Chair
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 September 2016
I bought this chair due to my old one being a pain in the neck (literally! I used to get an aching neck!) The chair was delivered in one large box, well packed. Inside the box it contained all the tools and parts you need to assemble the chair. On my own I managed to put the chair and stool together in around 45 minutes so it would probably have been 25 mins with two people. The wires for vibration / heat etc come out of the back right hand side of the chair. The recline function works well by sitting back to recline or forward to bring the chair upright again, this is all very smooth and easy to do. The massage function is more of a vibrate function with 3 levels of intensity and a variety of patterns in which the chair targets different areas of the body. You can also select certain areas to activate on their own e.g lumbar and shoulders, back and thighs etc. It's a good system that works well and makes little noise. The heat function works in the lumbar area and will heat up for a period before shutting off again, getting nicely warm without getting too hot.The leather effect looks good and the chair is very comfortable to sit in, highly recommended

    Nightmare to assemble
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2019
I bought this chair trying to find some comfort from a prolapsed lumbar disc causing sciatica. The package (27kgs) was dumped outside my flat by the Hermes courier, and it was a real struggle for 2 people to move in to my flat. The instructions were ambiguous and it took a great deal of effort to assemble. It seems to be good enough quality but the time and effort to move and assemble it mean I wouldn’t buy from this company again

Great value for money - Great for gaming and footy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 April 2017
The chair came promptly in the morning, the packaging was very secure and tightly packed up, took around 25 mins with 2 people building this, instructions are simply and straight forward. Once it was up and running the chair is very well built, only the foot stool legs that a come slightly loose. The Chair is very comfortable for watching footy and the occasional movie, the massager and heat is great also not the most powerful but it does the job, not something that all people would enjoy, not for people who love big soft chairs as this isn't. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to use this as a gaming chair or just a relaxing one.

Love this, so do the grandkids
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 June 2021
Bought this for an extra chair for either my she-shed log cabin/library in the summer or in the winter, sitting at the french doors reading my book. I'm very picky when it comes to chairs due to my rheum arthritis so was a bit apprehensive buying it un-tested but I needn't have worried. The only thing is when the grandkids come around I've lost it as they like it too.

    Comfy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 December 2017
Really comfortable chair. Well packaged in delivery which can mean it is a problem getting it out. One issue on assembly was that on one of the armrests the wholes for the screws do not align. Really comfortable to sit in and the footstool is at the right height although not adjustable. The massage function is OK but not really my bag. Like the heat function but it is a gentle warmth.

    Nice Chair set!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2020
I am using this as a replacement office chair, rather than something to simply lounge around in whilst watching the television. I am very impressed at the quality of the faux leather used and the ease of assembly for this set. The chair feels as if it were made just for me, as my feet actually touch the floor and the back of my knees align with the edge of the seat perfectly! The heat with vibration setting is also great for my lower back. Would recommend to a friend or colleague. 5/5.

    Very comfortable
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2021
Fairly straightforward assembly – the two parts of the chair attach easily, so assembly is really just screws for the bases – and one has a fairly comfortable reclining chair. It’s a very comfortable chair, nice recline on it, with a footstool that you can site as you prefer.Material is more plastic than faux leather, but it’s comfortable enough, and looks good regardless.

The recline works perfectly with the foot-stall
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2019
Bought whilst waiting for a sofa. But now the sofa has finally come i think I prefer the chair!Don't use the massage much but the heat is optional (some reviews said massage was always hot).

Customer questions and answers

  • Does it recline like a bed ?
Not quite like a bed, but more comfortable than the £1,000 chair advertised to remove stress I previously bought.
  • what is the maximum weight of person possible for this chair
I don’t think there’s any weight restrictions that are Avery nice chair
  • what power supply does this take - I need a spare?
I'm in Nigeria. Ours is 220V
  • Do you supply spare parts
Yes they do, we replace one of the feet on the after a rather large friend broke the foot when he flopped down on the chair. We've had our chair about 3-4 years now still comfortable & massaging well & our visitors still fight to sit on the chair rather than our sofa or armchair.
