- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 July 2021It collapsed after less than a month. Not as strong as it claims. Avoid.This is rated by the seller for people weighing up to 150kg. I weigh 127kg. After less than month's use (and I do NOT use the reclining function) the chair collapsed.One side of the bottom cross member came adrift. It is a piece of wood maybe 1.5cm thick and 4cm wide spanning the width of the chair. It seems that this is where almost all of a person's load is carried. It appears to be fixed to the chassis with some heavy duty staples and maybe some glue. This is the joint that failed - it simply pulled apart.Had it been screwed and glued then maybe it would be adequate, but that's not the point. It's advertised for 150kg and it isn't up to the job.It's the only chair I have apart from 'dining chairs' so while I'm waiting for Amazon or the Seller to organise its return I'll whack in a couple of screws and see if that will hold it for a few days. I've already banged in a couple of nails, but the joint just pulled apart again.It's a very poor design and relies completely on just two joints (one each side) which are just pinned and glued "the wrong way up" so that the load is always going to pull the joint apart if the glue fails - the pins/staples are just there to hold the joint while the glue dries - they offer no strength to the joint at all.If you are on the large side, look elsewhere.(Edit - after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing the vendor finally agreed to a full refund, but left me the problem of disposing of the wreckage).

The height is perfect and I am 5’ 4” so I am sat in the correct position and it’s firm so I am not sinking down after being sat for a while. I don’t really use it as a recliner but do raise my legs and the back goes back just enough so that I’m still upright with no weight on the base of my spine. My grandson recommends it as a recliner and says it’s really comfy. The chair looks great in the corner of my living room. Highly recommended

The cover is woven and in marl grey tones, the nearest fabric I could compare it to would be linen but with a much closer weave. Very very nice.Also they arrived before th stated time two days after i ordered them I can highly recommend this company.

- I have a small door 65cm wide will it fit to get in house?This item is flat pack and the dimension of the box is W46 xL75 X H79 cm.If the box still can't go through the door, you can open the box and take the parts in one by one.
