  OK but I wouldn't buy again

  Good:Delivery was excellent, 2 guys delivered, installed and tested it.All rise/fall/leg rest is fine and independent motor's run well, firm seat is well padded and comfortable (for me)Not so good: The rest of the padding!Back padding is very firm in the centre like a ridge although it softens a bit through use, arm padding is very poor, the interior wood frame which is quite sharp and can be felt with the slightest pressure on the arms which is getting worse with wear, the metal frame of the foot rest is very poorly padded.This is a cheap chair considering its functions and I suppose it's reasonable for the price but I'd suggest paying more (if you can afford it) for one you can go and try in a shop rather than buying it "blind" on the web as I did.

  comfy and cumbersome

  It is very comfortable (I am 5'11 and 'wide'). All the functions work; the massage bit is largely cosmetic compared to a real massage but sometimes reassuring. The main controller is in the left-hand packet (as viewed from the front). The connections are initially a bit confusing and there an no instructions with the chair; do not put the back on until you have made the connections between the back and the main chair. The connections all have different designs so it is actually pretty easy to see what goes where. The main connection is under the chair and seems to go right or left as needed. You will need an adaptor as it uses two plugs and you might want to plug in a reading light as well. It is made of 'bonded' leather which is a composite of leather fibres and some kind of glue. Looks fine: mine is black but very uniform; no blemishes and inconsistencies as you would expect with real leather. The main box is very heavy. Me and the delivery chap managed to gently roll and slide the box through the door, into the hall and then into the sitting room. You would definitely need strong help if you wanted to get it upstairs or had to lift it for any reason.

  Very comfortable and reclines completely

  Bought this recliner chair for my husband who has just had a hip replacement and could not find a comfortable position for sleeping and sitting. Delivery of this chair was a dream. The two-man team arrived on time, unpacked the chair, assembled it just where we wanted it and then checked the controls were working. When my husband sat in the chair he sighed with relief and said it felt like bliss. He found it comfortable for sitting and for full reclining. It is well padded all over including the foot rests. It was also quite easy to move (on a hard floor). He is now sleeping happily for the first time since he came home from hospital.

  Black riser/recliner/heater/massager arrived today ...the delivery guys were professional and helpful/cheerful. I ordered this two days ago and contact for the delivery was perfect , the chair suits all my mother's needs and the colour matches my sofa so I am very pleased with the purchase and I recommend this company . I will also use this chair when I can ... a big thank you for a great service today.

  Bought this for my elderly mother who was in tremendous pain with very limited movement. When I told the seller of the situation they pulled out all the stops to make sure the chair arrived the very next day. Thank you... you made the last six months of my mothers life much more comfortable.The chair is if anything over-featured, but the tilting, warming and vibration features were well used. Yes the controls are a little bit hard to get your head around but if my 90 yr old mum could manage it anyone can.Thank you once again.

  Fantastic comfort

  The chair arrived in good time and was put together by a friend as I'm disabled and definitely could not have done so myself. There are no actual instructions for installation and setting up the electric connections but my friend managed ok with a bit of trial and error. It's extremely comfortable and has enabled me to sleep through the night which has not been possible for some time. The buttons used to move the various parts of the chair are pretty self explanatory and I've had no problems getting it into a comfortable position. Definitely worth 5 stars.

  better than bed

  My friends, on seeing this, would not believe how good the value of this was. For a number of health related reasons, I have not slept in a bed for about a year, choosing instead, to improvise by using a combination of armchair and stool, a makeshift combination of dubious comfort. And now I have this most fabulous recliner. I have had some armchairs that have been relatively comfortable, but my recliner gives me sublime comfort of an extent, in all my sixty years, not encountered before. When it comes to understanding technology, I am a semi-literate, but this has the simplest remote control device that I have ever come across. Amazon, in the many years I have been a customer, have never ever let me down. Long may they flourish. They set a benchmark that few other companies can match.

  I love my chair so much. It easy too put together . I got fibromyalgia and lupus and arthritis and chronic pain smydome and diabetic nerve damage too so the heat and massage helps slot. It so comfortable too xxxx

  Waste of money!

  Ordered 9/11/20 delivered late but they did tell us, (only good piece of customer service). One of the chairs started making strange ratcheting noices in early December but it was intermmittent. In early January it got gradualyy worse which prompted contact to raise the issue. They replied with a checklist and i tried on three occasions to advise that there was a loud clicking ratcheting sound but it appears the link did not work. I have requested a refund or a repair but they have refused my return/refund request. It sounds like and 1970's black cab! The padding is virtually non-existent and they are very uncomfortable for anyone with a skinny frame. My wife does like the massage function but nearly £600 for a massage is a bit steep. Overall they are lucky to get one star from me!

  This is the second chair i have bought i had one for myself about 18 months ago and have just bought this one for my husband he loves it too, the delivery was first class 2 men as they said and they did not leave till everything was up and running
