- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 May 2021This review is of the lamp itself, not the supplier - purchase not advised.The glass shade is thin (some 2mm), which makes it quite fragile, so handle with care. The brass base, into which the 3 shade support arms screw, is also thin, which makes the brass arms quite flimsy. Supplied with a 2-core flex, with a 2-pin to UK adapter fitted, none of the metal is therefore earthed.The first was supplied with a crack in the shade from top to bottom, which I’ve glued using glass glue. When this was reported to Lamp and Light, a replacement was immediately despatched from their warehouse in the Netherlands, but this arrived with the shade shattered and glass shards loose in the bottom of the box.Top marks to the seller - no issues with them at all, it’s just that the product is of such poor standards.
