- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2019Lovely lampThis is such a lovely lamp, a bit awkward to assemble the way you need to hold three components together and screw the securing piece in but easy with a helping hand.The wire is a tad bit out of place but really unnoticeable once the lamp is on.I think the wire around 1 metre so it’s not that long but still suitable for a bedside table.Very bright, not for mood lighting, good for when you’re just sitting in bed.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2018Good lamp but not long-lastingI liked the lamp itself - it fits to my metal desk (black) and is pretty basic. Its shade looked a bit cheap and was a bit uneven to one side, but I turned it around and it was just fine. After 8 months now, the lamp unfortunately broke - it does not switch on anymore, even with new light bulbs in it. I tried to contact the seller (Light Factory) but never received a response. Considering I paid GBP 18, I am sure these would be sold cheaper with probably a better service (exchange/refunds) in a local shop or buy from amazon itself for better guarantee!

I have since replaced the lampshade as I do not like the one that came with it as it doesn’t suit the style of the living room but I feel that the one that came with it is more versatile and not specific to a style. My parents have used the shade light for a spare room which they think is perfect so it didn’t go to waste. I love the look of the lamp base (as I have matching light shades in my living room) and my new shade. Recently flipped the side table surface and it makes the lamp pop so much more.

The lamp shade is a bit of a let down but not too bad from a distance. There are some artefacts that show up when lit which can’t be removed and what seems to be glue all around which is cheap looking. Is this the style? I don’t know but looks like glue to me. But for the price I would expect better really.

It is large and takes up a lot of space (which is my fault I guess, as I did not check the measurements) but I don't think it's worth the price as the bulb keeps the shade in place and if you have a small bulb the shade just rocks as there's no stability.It's a large possibility that I'm slow but I felt like I was missing something when I assembled it and with the price paid some instructions would be helpful.

If so, then yes, I believe so. The shade looks to be a standard size, so you should be able to change it out.
