The base is slightly smoked in colour but works perfectly with the shade. It's taller than i expected too so really sets of the table. It was the finishing touch to my newly decorated room. Im thrilled!!!Also the wire is see through so really easy to conceal, which was a unexpected bonus!!!

Its very heavy and the cut glass looks very expensive when it's lit. Tbh I thought at the price I paid it could have been cut acrylic but no it's solid glass. So I bought another as needed 2. If you want a beautiful well made lamp go for it you will be impressed. The shade is nice quality too.

It is a very attractive lamp, just the right size and shape for a bedside lamp. It is a solid weight and there is no danger of accidentally being knocked over. I would happily recommend this lamp.

In line on off switch with a nice length of cable for plugging in. I’d definitely buy again for other rooms in the house.
