- How long is the cable please? As my power socket is not close to my deskThe cable on mine is 1800 mm (6 ft in old money).
- Can you buy a replacement power cord?I'm sure you can as it looks like a standard power cord to me.
- As the bulbs are not replaceable, how long would you say the lamp would last? In hours say?I don't know how long it'll last, we have had 2 earlier versions which have lasted for years. Webe used them loads. The only reason we bought another was one was losing charge too quickly, thats now being used as a bedside lamp.
- Why does my light turn on by itself and it takes a while then I’m able to turn it off? Anyone else with this problem ?I purchased 2 lamps recently. One works very well. One works very well. The second has a habit of turning on in the middle of the night like the questioner and the one other respondent here. I have moved all items off the bedside table to minimise external factors influencing the lamp turning on, but without any luck. My guess is that the switch is actually a capacitance switch and has been fitted in such a way that case capacitance affects the operation and starts the lamp by itself. Regarding the delay, my guess is that the sensing circuit gets confused by contradictory inputs, but I say this without opening up the product and servicing it. I have looked for a means to contact the seller but haven't found it easily. It may require a retyurn and replacement, and a hope the problem doesn't reoccur! see less
