On its dimmest setting it's just right for my wife to read her kindle while I get to sleep. Only thing I would say is that it wasn't immediately obvious from the instructions how the dimming function works. You touch the base once to turn it on or off. To dim the light you touch and hold your finger in the base. To increase brightness touch and hold again. Overall very happy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 November 2020USB on Lamp does NOT support Apple devicesI’ve ordered two of these so far, first I got sent a totally different colour and shaped lamp, I tested it out and the usb didn’t charge any Apple devices so I returned it. Ordered a replacement one that arrived the next day, it was the right shape and colour this time but still does not charge Apple devices. I only ever use official Apple cables, I’ve trie 3 different ones so I know it’s not the lead. No way of contacting the seller directly, only option is to return... again.... or keep a very expensive bog standard touch lamp.

The dimming feature works perfectly but I am disappointed that the USB ports will not charge any apple products. I have tried 5 different cables, 3 of which are original apple cables on 2 different iPhones and an iPad and they do not charge. They do however charge an android tablet and gaming headphones so it’s just a problem with apple.

The lamp has simple design and I didn’t even need to read the manual to get them assembled. Small gadgets such as phone, tablet, watch etc. can be charged through USB that coms with the lamp, so it is really handy and no need to bend down my body to find wall sockets from bedside - which is exactly what I bought them for, excellent product!

I contacted the seller through Amazon and within a two days a replacement arrived which works perfectly. Sometimes bugs occur and the measure of a company is their customer service which I couldn’t fault here.The lamps are powered by a USB adapter which plugs into the mains socket and is provided in the box with the lamp and a dimmable bulb. With the lamp shade fitted I can read my book on the brightest setting with the lamp positioned next to me. You wouldn’t be able to do that if it was any distance away but works perfectly for me.The two USB ports built in the lamps work fine to charge my phone or watch.Very happy now I have two working lamps that look great.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 March 2021Middle of the roadThe touch base is fairly non responsive, so you end up tapping away trying to get it to turn off, the USB ports do charge apple devices (contrary to a different review) and the bulb is cold white instead of warm white (shock! Horror! Right?!) - but it does mean that you feel like you’re sleeping in a fridge.£30 is a lot for what it is.

Couldn’t be bothered to return so purchased bulb aand now works fine .very easy to use and useful during the night due to touch facility. Would have given five stars but for missing bulb shame.

Great birthday present to each other during lockdown.No more stumbling around trying to switch a lamp o during the night or having to find a free plug to charge up a mobile phone. Routinely charge the phones every night now.Downside is the light could be brighter, especially for reading. Not sure if we can use a bigger watt bulb.The ambience in the room is very nice.
