I bought it because of the swirly chic design and the silver touch it has which looks lovely on my white desk. It gives off a nice glow and not too harsh which is what I wanted for my desk. It has 3 different light ‘shades’ or ‘levels’, which go from a warm white, lighter, then a colder bright light, which can be easily set via the switch on the wire itself so no fiddling around on the lamp itself. All 3 modes can be adjusted further too so they can be various brightness levels from dim to full bright in several different steps, all by toughing (tapping) the switch, which is perfect for later nights when you don’t want the light glaring in your face. I tried to take photos of the many levels and shades but my camera didn’t pick them up so well because it’s difficult to take a photo of a light lol. Hopefully you’ll get the idea of what it looks like anyway. Hope my review has helped.

They didn’t have a matching table lamp which was disappointing. Found this light on Amazon which perfectly compliments the wall lights as it matches the twisted curved design. Completely blends together.Touch control switches between light colours. A warm white, clinical white and neutral tone. If you hold down the switch it dims the brightness. Press down again and it brightens up. Would have preferred the cord in black rather than white but that’s a minor niggle.

Just slide your finger on the switch to change the colour and press it down to increase or decrease the brightness. Fiddly at first but works perfectly once you know how to use it. The light is very bright too.

In addition, if you're using with Smart plugs, be aware that once power is reapplied to the light, you have to press the in-line switch each time which negates the purpose of a smart switch. Returning.

Brightest setting is good for reading by which is exactly what we wanted, but it can be dimmed to nice gentle light as well. Looks fabulous too! Came well packaged and promptly delivered. Brilliant - cannot fault it.

- Is this lamp any good for reading?I think the lamp ADDS light to rather dim surroundings but if you needed a lamp to focus on your book it might not be quite what you want. I hesitate to put you off. You see from the picture that it GLOWS rather than, as I say, focussses. I am happy with it to just lighten a dim corner. Sorry not to be more helpful.
