1. There are 2 switches, one on the plug cord, the other one is a zipper switch between the base & light shade. When this bed sides lamp installation completed, please press the ON button on the cord after connecting the power supply.
Then pull the zipper switch to achieve the effect of turning on/off the light and dimming. (At night, the dimming effect of the night light lamp will be better).
2. If you need to use the USB port, when you turn off the table lamp, pls only pull the zipper switch and keep the switch on the plug cord in the “ON” status.
3. Please keep the wooden base of the nightstand lamp away from water.

- Does this lamp plug into the mains? or is it powered by usb?Lamp is powered from the mains. 85-265V with 3 usb charging ports in the base which can connections to power your phone, kindle, etc. But these are not for charging this lamp.
- Is this a touch lamp?Not this one, it has a silver pull zipper switch. But we got a smart bulb and connected to Alexa. Easy peasy, Alexa lamp on!
- How do you adiust the brightness?The zipper switch is between the base & light shade, pull it to adjust the brightness and turn on/off.
- Can it adjust the brightness and colors of the light?It comes with three-speed dimming 5W E27 Warm bulb, Its darkest gear is a very weak light suitable for sleep, and its brightest gear can also satisfy your normal books reading. This lamp is not a colors changing bulb, you can replace one by yourself.
