  Nice sturdy Lamp, modern design and simple to use

  This is the second floor lamp I've bought for my living toom as just couldn't get on with the first one, it was very flimsy and constantly moved as we walked around the room (laminate floors with too much flex doesn't help). So the old lamp got relegated to the spare room and I picked up this nice little number which has a small shelf to place a plant, or use a small side table. This helps break up the boring "pole" other floor lamps seem to have.When it arrive, I was rather surprised, and wasn't sure if I had the right product as the box was quite small, certainly didn't feel it was big enough to keep the floor lamp with a reasonable lampshade in. But it did, the lampshade comes rolled up and you end up building it an velcroing it together. It's a standard fit shade, so will probably end up replacing as we redecorate the room. But it suites the lamp well and is of good quality- ie, does not have loads of creases in or misshaped. The rest of the lamp was just screwed together in 3 or 4 parts and easy enough to do.The base is weighted, and as such you feel there is no issue with it getting knocked over, and if needed Id' be happy to place my cuppa on the tray as a spare table, it's that secure!It has a floor switch (flat with a single big button) so you can turn it on and off with your foot. I've actually added a Philips hue smart bulb to it, and set it up so it goes off and on via a schedule. Therefore I have it with the switch on all the time and tucked under the sofa.Overall a very decent lamp for the money- when I popped into my local home base, their cheapest comparable lamp was twice the price so very pleased with my purchase.

  Great lamp with a solid stand.

  A great addition to our living room.Looks really good.Great quality and easy to set up.We were going to buy tripod lamp for the corner of our room until we spotted this.The idea that is also functioned as a small table appealed to us.Good design. Lamp and table in one.Stylish elegant heavy.Lamp shade is big.Nice soft, cosy lighting.Really well build, when it came and you had to assemble the lamp shade I was a bit unsure how it would look.But the instructions are fab and it all works perfectly.The shade feels strong and the lamp pole itself rigid.The base means that it is not likely to tip without being physically pulled over with strength.Looks great with our colour scheme.Really pleased.Love this lamp, exactly what we needed.Great value and completes modern look for lounge.Thank you very much.

  Lovely hanging lamp. Nice warm feel to the area

  I purchased this to create a little reading area. Thought it would be perfect. The shape, size and the small shelf were exactly what I was looking for. It gives a lovely feel and look to the sitting area. Sits perfectly above the rocking chair.The assembly is easy. The assembly process is very thoughtful. Had no trouble. The lamp feels very well built. But I do have some concerns. The metal pole, between the base and bulb, it has 4 points of connection. Usually these points at the weak points and have a tendency to get loose. But honestly, so far, it feels solid. It is an item you usually don’t move or handle much. So I feel it would last. The head of the lamp does move, so it can be positioned directly at the spot you want without moving the lamp. What attracted me the most was the small shelf in the middle. Perfect for placing a book, glasses, coffee/tea. It very useful.

  This lamp is really lovely and looks so nice. My mouse was already hoovering above one that was double the price, but without the tray and I am so glad I got this one instead. It fits perfectly with our decor and we use the lowest possible voltage bulb so it gives a nice background light for TV watching but is at the same time suitable for evening reading. The little tray/table doesn't hold much, but it's suitable for the remotes, phone, a cup of tea or a glass of wine. You don't really need much more. It was really easy to put together too and the shade nicely rolls up and attaches with velcro.

  Perfect lamp for my whisky room - may purchase another

  I wanted some decorative lamps for beside the lounge chairs in my whisky room. This is great as the black stand fits in with the shelving, the lights look somewhere between antique and modern and the tray in the middle is perfect for placing a whisky glass or an ashtray for a cigar.The weighted shade allows it to be tipped over the Chesterfields for ambience and if I add in a hue bulb it gives great dynamic lighting control of the room. Love it and see as there are two arm chairs, I think I might purchase another one.

  Very useful lamp

  Ordered 2 of these as I planned on using them as nightstands/bedside tables, and one of them had the mid screw damaged, returned one, kept the other and ordered a replacement for the damaged one, easy enough it came the next day. These are very useful lamps, not very tall not very low. Also the table height was perfect for us, holds phones/book, etc - I`ve used 40W bulbs as they were for the bedroom so didn`t need them to be extremely bright and the warm mellow light is quite soothing.

Absolutely amazing design, something really unique.The detachable tray is such a great idea and really good size, very useful to put glass of water, remote control or glasses, or like in our house a flowers, which looks beautiful and very different.I love the fact that it's fully adjustable and it can be used in different angles.The base is very small so does not disturb, it can be easily hidden under the armchair or sofa. The base is also weighted, therefore the lamp stands stable.Nice size of lampshade.It came flat packed, but assembly was quick and straightforward.Amazing price for such a good lamp. Looks perfect in our living room.
