This unique carved wood table lamp features a structure consisting of traditional Korean house dragon roof and windows. When the light is on, each side reveals the design of Sagunja, or "four noble beings," containing four plants, maehwa (spring), orchid (summer), chrysanthemum (autumn) and bamboo (winter) that symbolize the four seasons. There is a pull string switch on the lamp so that the user can choose from two colors of light. This wood lamp radiates soft and comforting natural light to soothe the body and mind, tired from busy urban life.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2015Beautifully hand made lamps [I bought 2 of them for ...Beautifully hand made lamps [I bought 2 of them for the bedroom]. They are spot on giving off a soft even light which is perfect for the bedroom.The picture panels are printed onto real rice paper and secured behind glass. There are two lamps, one clear, the other red, fixed to a small bridge inside the lamp. Personally I had no use for the red lamps so I unscrewed the bridge [it's purposely made so you can do this for changing the bulbs] and removed the red bulb. The lamp still functions perfectly although I now need to pull the on/off cord twice [with the absence of the red bulb].The lamps were very well packed in thick cardboard boxes and sent by air mail. They arrived faster than the suggested date set by Amazon. Unlike another reviewer I did not have to pay extra for transport.All in all, I cannot recommend these lamps too highly. Full Five stars all round.
