Pair of modern curved neck fisherman style touch table lamps in an antique brass finish with a clear glass shade. Simply touch the metal base to turn the lamp on - no more trying to find the switch at night. The light can be set to 4 stages, off, a low level light for mood lighting, a medium level light for general lighting and a high level light which is the brightest setting to create an intense pool of light. Table lamps are brilliant as complementary lighting and are perfect to light up dull corners. Please Note: This lamp requires dimmable bulbs. Not suitable for standard LED or energy saving bulbs.

I’ve had to request a replacement for one as whilst I was reading , it literally went Bang and then went out. Unplugged it , only to find it had burnt out.. I have taken photos of lamp to show the damage , potentially it could have caused a fire ,thus I would rate tHis item as extremely badly made and very dangerous. Cannot upload photos , sorry. Am waiting to hear if The Light Factory are going to replace . Interested to hear If anyone else has had this happen. Potentially, a case for Trading standards .

It does exactly what you want it to do.However, don't buy the bulbs that are sold with it on Amazon under the banner "also bought with". These don't work properly. They will buzz, flicker, and won't 'dim' or 'brighten' as they should with each touch of the lamp. Just buy ordinary bulbs .... not the ones that look 'retro'.Finally, the big drawback. This is the reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5. The product is sold as a complete item .... spare parts are not available. I broke the glass globe. I contacted the company to try to source a replacement. NOPE. It's a bit like buying a bicycle, then getting a puncture. You can't just buy a new tyre .... you've got to replace the whole bike!So .... Nice lamp. Just don't break it!

The dimmest setting (using the bulb provided) is still possibly slightly brighter than I’d ideally like. Otherwise, cannot fault these lamps. Combining old fashioned design with modern technology the touch base is really handy and they brighten room really well. It’s great that they’re offered as a pair and with bulbs as it means they’re ready to go as soon as they arrive and give the perfect symmetry either side of the bed. Great product, great price and great effect. All of my friends who see them love them too.

- Lamp makes a humming noise why is thisI think I'd send it back if it's making a humming noise. I bought two of these lamps and neither makes any noise whatsoever. They do what they're supposed to do, give light, not sound.
