【SIZE】The size of the lamp is 16x16x47cm, base 15x5.5cm. This is particularly good as it is not too big so you can take with you camping or traveling or anything like that. However, it is not too small so it will be bright enough to light up the place you will be reading!

Only problem is that the switch is placed so far down the cable that every time I want to switch it on or off, I have to crawl under my desk to find the switch. Silly design error. The perfect solution would be to have an on/off button on the lamp base or shade.

Poor design and wouldn't have bought had I known this or if it had been described in the product details.

I have had the lamp for just over 6 months and in that time I have had to change the fuse twice and have changed the bulb on multiple occasions. I'm consigning it to the tip and buying a Tomon's which judging by the reviews appears much more reliable.

I bought it thinking it had a nice classic hint of green (although description does say brass)It is in-fact a rich brass tone, lovely though even if I was a little disappointed as I love green but I guess I need to specifically search green next time. Won’t return it as it’s very sturdy & bright.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 December 2020Could be used for self defence in the event of a burglary.Heavy good quality lamp that illuminates my emotional support duck at night.Only issue I have with this lamp is that the base is not flat so rocks back and forth slightly if I'm plodding around the room at night.I would have sent it back and asked for another but maybe they are all like that? Secondly, I could not be bothered to take it down the post office to return it so will just put up with it.May buy another for the bedroom but will send that one back if it doesn't sit flat, that is if I haven't used it to ward off an intruder.
