- How do you take the shade off should a bulb blow?You have to ensemble it when it arrives, the shades are held in place by clips you have to squeeze then insert. To remove pull the shade down partially and squeeze the clips again. Warning... check the wiring, the one we have blows bulbs on a regular basis!
