  Love this light unit, great for smaller areas

  I wanted a new floor lamp for our sitting room but as we are always pushed for space finding one slim enough to fit can be a challenge. This light and shelf unit just ticks all the boxes; I get a decent light behind the armchair which can be brightened or dimmed; and three useful shelves.My partner is a carpenter, so putting this flat pack together was a breeze to him, but it does arrive as a flat pack, and quite a heavy pack too. Assembly instructions seemed fairly straight forward; three black wooden shelves, the heavy steel bars, and the light unit at the top. The square light shade slides inside the top unit; the bulb is inserted, a small chain hangs down below the light fitting, will switch the light on; once the batteries are inserted; the remote control can also be used to switch on and off. We can also dim the light or brighten it, again using the remote control. We just discovered last night, that we can also change the colour of the light, again on the remote control; this happen quite by accident!As I said earlier, the pack arrives as a heavy box, so the result, when assembled is a very steady unit; the lower shelf at almost floor level, and then two other shelves with a decent amount of space between them, hold the whole unit tightly in place. I think the lamp unit has a maybe, minimalist, but stylish look, which really works for us because of the shelve space, that can either be used for storage, like ours; or maybe for displaying ornaments.We are both delighted with this lamp, it can produce a warm light whilst relaxing in the evening, or a bright enough light to read by.We really like having a floor lamp but often the space below the lamp, is wasted space, in our smaller rooms; so this shelf unit and lamp is ideal. The remote control works perfectly, so we are delighted with our purchase; something we would definitely recommend to others.

  This lamp arrived as a neat package and lighter than expected. All the pieces were there and seem to be well manufactured with a good coating of paint (we chose the white one). It was easy to assemble and the instructions were just enough to be a guide for the process. Once assembled it was sturdy enough for the use we intended and its a good height.The bulb fitted neatly into its' holder.Two things which could make it a bit better would be to replace the over large wing nut with small nut and washer and to replace the black hole covers with white ones.The lamp shade is a bit too rigid so it doesn't quite fit neatly in the space but with time it may mould to shape. The shelves are of a good size and with a heavy(ish) ornament at the bottom adds to the stability.The bulb provides good light and is adjustable in both brightness and shades of white from a blue white to a rich yellow white and all works from the remote control.Very happy with this item so far.

  I was a little nervous as when I bought this it only had one review - and that was negative but I braved it anyway.It arrived and the box was smaller than I imagined it would be. I opened it up and it was easy to build (although the instructions were VERY small - a magnifying glass came in handy (perhaps I'm getting old)).It is not super sturdy, but I have it in the corner of my room and I absolutely love it. Just what I wanted and the remote comes in handy and I love dimability (is that even a word?).Bottom line - very happy.

  Great lamp, good quality version

  I''ve read some negative reviews about this, but I'm very happy with this light. It was easy to put together, and is sturdy. I especially like the pullchain to manually switch the light on if you need to. It's very bright on a high light setting. I'm thinking of swapping the bulb out for a colour changing bulb with remote control, which would be more ideal for the bedroom. There are other lights like this which are much cheaper, although I doubt they are as well made. This is definitely a good quality one.

  Nice looking light once assembled as long as you don't look too closely.Very easy to assemble but as you do so you notice that the machining on the legs isn't even, the screw holes inside each leg aren't bang on centre so getting a perfect alignment with each shelf wasn't possible.The pull cord action is a little clunky, but then we don't ever use it as the remote and it's various settings are great.Overall we're happy with it and would consider another.

  I love this!! Brought it for our teenage daughters bedroom as she wanted a bedside table which was narrow but wanted to have a table lamp to without comprising space. This unit not only ticks all the boxes, the dimmable function paired with the ambient lighting control is awesome!

  Faultless-we love it

  Easy to assemble and looks good. Needed some dimmable lighting for when the baby is in the front room at night. This is perfect it’s strong enough to light up the room but dimmable enough not to stimulate a young baby during night and evening feeds. Would like to buy another but the price has increased since I bought this a few days ago!!!it may be a coincidence but I got an invitation to join a discount membership club with the package. I would buy another but resent the price hike. My advice is, if you’re likely to need 2 buy 2 on your first order, otherwise you’ll pay more 2nd time around. The light itself is faultless and looks great.

  Received quickly and well packaged. Fitted together easily. Perfect as a multipurpose unit. Supplies light, looks stylish, holds small items like books or art. Amusing programming the remote to give the different light settings. Would be improved by having the power cable better located against/along one of the uprights instead of down the centre of the unit, but maybe it is a logistics thing! A good buy, wish I could afford more of them, but it is going to be useful as it will fit into any room when not needed in the guest bedroom.

  Brilliant lamp!

  The lamp isn't in its final position yet, but I have to admit I didn't have high hopes. The photo doesn't actually do the lamp justice, the structure is actually fairly sturdy and the lamp shade thankfully is both plastic and fabric. I tried the included bulb and it wasn't a winner for me but it's going to good use elsewhere in the house, and I've opted for a smart bulb for this one instead. Honestly the entire unit being white with the cream shade really sets off an rgb bulb.Just remember when you build it the four long posts go at the bottom of the lamp, not at the shade area.

  This product looks as if it has been opened screws lying loosely about box bag of screws bag ripped open but was lucky none were missing but batteries for remote where missing love the lamp great lighting coverage but disappointed as it should of been checked before leaving warehouse
