- what type of bulbs does this lamp use and are they available to buyThe bulbs are not replaceable but it says that the lamp has more than 40,000 hours of service life, enough for more than 20 years.

- Are replacement bulbs available?None needed - it’s an LED lamp
- Can this be left in 'powered on' state so a Alexa smart plug could just switch this on and off automatically.I can't be certain but don't see why not. I burnt out my old halogen uplighter by doing just as you propose so I'm cautious, but this LED doesn't power up gradually so I think it should work.
