- Could I put a plug on instead of hard wired so I can use as a lamp?You could put a plug on but would not be suitable as a lamp
- Is this class 2 (double insulated). There is no earth to the metal celling rose. There is an earth wire but connects only to pipe part?Ours had the 3 wires coming from light fitting. (Earth, neutral and live) which we connected via a connector block coming from the old ceiling rose fitment. There has to be an earth wire or otherwise dangerous. (My husband's words as I have no idea). Donna.
- Would there be any issue connecting this to a plaster ceiling rose?You would have to drill through the plaster to a joist has it is quite heavy
