- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2021Modern Chandelier, little sparse on the crystals.I chose the 3 light pendant.This requires fitting by a qualified electrician & will need to be sited on a noggin or batten due to it's weight.It arrives well packed in a cardboard box measuring approx 29cm x 29cm x 27cm.Inside the box, the chandelier frame without the crystals attached is embedded in a padded insert to protect it & the other pieces (crystals, ceiling attachments etc.. are packed inside the frame so be careful when unpacking.The crystals are wrapped in twos in tissue paper, then bundled together in eights wrapped in plastic to hold them securely together.There are a total of 16 crystals included with the 3 light frame.The crystals are a triangular prism shape with each edge ground flat.The back of each crystal measure approx 18cm x 2.1cm.From the flat back to the top of the 'triangle' shape the crystal measures approx 1.2cm.Each one has a predrilled hole in one end for hanging onto the frame.There is a bag of flat metal pieces provided for you to bend into shape & hang the crystals yourself.It is in the same bag as what looks like half the instructions (no trace of the other half) which includes a labelled diagram with items A -Q but no real assembly instructions or key provided.If you look closely at the bottom right hand illustration which has a large P on it's right hand side, you will see how to insert the 'hooks' to hang the crystals.Once installed & fully assembled, the light at it's maximum extension measures 880mm from ceiling to bottom of lampshade.The minimum extension would be a total length of 38cm from ceiling to bottom of the lampshade (not using the extension bars at all)It can be installed hanging down at different heights by using or not using the extension bars included - a task any electrician will be familiar with.The ceiling rose has a diameter of 12cm & the space between fixings for it is 9cm centre to centre.The diameter of the shade itself is 28cm.So, once assembled & fitted with 3 bulbs it is nice & bright.It looks quite nice although I have other crystal chandelier light fittings (which admittedly cost more than this) which have far more crystals on them.These ones are quite widely spaced (the holes to hang the crystals from are 5cm apart) so the spaces between the crystals when hung is about as wide as the crystals themselves.It looks a bit sparse.If you like that look, then this is a nice light.I will look elsewhere at some point & replace this with something a little more in keeping with what I was looking for.I prefer these sort of fittings to using a lampshade because you don't need to replace them anywhere near as often & they are easier to keep clean.I wash the crystals once in a while in warm soapy water, buff them up when dry & they look fantastic for years.They also pretty much go with anything & any colour.

It was in pieces and needed putting together, the instructions didn’t really assist in this other than to give me a photo of what I was aiming for at the end.There were so many pieces it was daunting but eventually I ended up with something very delicate but looking a bit like the picture on the box.However it does need installing by a proper electrician as it comes with bare wires and so isn’t a case of just swapping shades (it’s the whole light and fitting).It does look stunning in the end however I wish the shade had been professionally put together before it reached me and stressed me out!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 October 20213 Light beautyAn absolutely beautiful light that really brings a room to life.Its really easy to install, anyone with minimal electrical knowledge can install this, or just YouTube it and within a matter of minutes you're good to go!The light takes 10 mins to put together, attaching each crystal piece to it, and the more I built it the more excited I was to put this up.Looks fantastic in a medium to large room, I highly recommend this!
