One technical issue is that the light does produces low level humming noise which is noticeable if you are in a quite room. Hope the manufacture can improve the built in electronics. Thanks

- Will the led light dim, with a trailing edge dimmer switch?Not used one of those dimmer switches, however, when I initially installed mine, the original light had a dimmer switch (tho not a very expensive dimmer), when connected, it was extremely noisy with a loud hum continuously, the buzz disappeared once I replaced the dimmer switch with a normal on/off switch.. So whilst … see more Not used one of those dimmer switches, however, when I initially installed mine, the original light had a dimmer switch (tho not a very expensive dimmer), when connected, it was extremely noisy with a loud hum continuously, the buzz disappeared once I replaced the dimmer switch with a normal on/off switch.. So whilst you can use a dimmer switch, doing so can cause the transformer in the light to buzz loudly. best to stick with using the remote control for dimming IMO. see less
