  Very good product.. Worth every penny.. Need to have a basic diy mindset to complete the installation. Ensure you reinforced the soft ceiling with wooden board of reasonable thickness to allow the fixing screws and bolt to get tightened properly. Total 10kg weight is not safe to be hung without reinforcement. I have used 7 x 4.6W non-dimmable Phillips GU10 warm white. Bright enough and looks brilliant. Cool white may be better but I had to go with the rest of my home lighting tone. Hanging the crystals took nearly 4hrs including 30mins break which was much needed for the neck strain looking up standing on a ladder. Hang the crystals without the GU10 bulbs. Fit the bulbs at the end. When hanging the crystals some that go across bulb hole have two hooks so make sure you use both hooks and the right ones or else the pattern will be affected and you may end up missing some hanging poitns. Start from the inner centre (no. 70) and go outwards. Once it is all done and you switch it on you will be Wowed... If you have the time and patience you can do it yourself. Don't hurry.. The final result justifies the hastle..

  It’s a beautiful light. Took us nearly 3 hours to put it together but it’s worth the results. I have put it in my upstairs landing as that’s the only place where I have enough height clearance for it.

  Worth the effort

  Stunnng once finished but does need time & patience.There are 2 parts to the light before hanging the wires/beads - the bracket that fits to the ceiling, this needs extra support in the ceiling/attic. I fitted a piece of plywood between joists in the attic and dropped 4 x 8mm bolts down. The second part is the plate with holes precut for the bulbs and wire loops to hang the wires/beads.....be very very careful as some of the holes cut for the bulbs have RAZOR sharp edges. 2 of us sliced our fingers.Once the support bracket and plate are fitted you hang the glass beads best to stast from the middle and work your way to the outside.Unwrap a number in advance and get someone to hand them up. Does take a long time but do it bits at a time.Instructions were fine. Good diagram that shows where each of the numbered beads should hang.Fitted with ice white bulbs, suspect warm white may be better, they can be changed.

  We ordered this as a centrepiece light to overhang a winding staircase. It arrived promptly and was packaged very sturdily. My two daughters assisted my husband in putting it up and it took the three of them around 2-3 hours. The light is stunning. We have taken out 2 of the 7 leds as it was immensely bright and the effect remains just as beautiful. The prisms that this throws are just gorgeous. All of the crystals are real glass...not plastic...it is heavy but was easy enough to connect and drill to ceiling. Very happy with our purchase. Well worth the money.

  Beautiful eye catching piece

  Absolutely stunning . Looks even better in real life.Very fiddly to undo each bit and trying to attach the ring clips with one hand whilst holding on a ladder with the other hand was impossible.I purchased some lobster jewelry clasps from amazon and hooked these on.Perfect solution and meant they could be clipped on easily once up the ladder.Absolutely stunning light for out large hall way.In love with it

  Frustrating - but worth the effort

  Looks great - But what a pain to put up. - There are two concurring circles of hooks from which you hang each line of crystals, with both going in opposite directions but looking exactly the same, so trying to distinguish between each lane, particularity in the middle and centre areas becomes very frustrating. The more crystal you attach, the more frustrating it gets, especially as some hooks are almost hidden behind the bulbs. My suggestion would be, before you start hanging the crystals, use a marker pen, and place a small dot on one each hook on one of the circles to distinguish one from the other.Also the time it takes to unpack and untangle each crystal line ain't great.However, show some perseverance and you will end up with a great looking light.

  We have a full height hallway. Light looks absolutely stunning. Yes it’s fiddly to put together but you just have to be methodical & take your time, well worth the effort. One string was broken and it was replaced immediately no problem. If you want a statement piece, this is the light to do it at a fraction of the cost of others

  It looks beautiful, but not the easiest to put together. You have to have patience. Each strand is attached to the fitting using a ring, like a key ring so quite fiddly and you need good eyesight because they are quite small . If the manufacturer had used little hooks this would probably make it a lot easier. It took me around 6 hours, but there's even a knack to opening each individual crystal from the packaging so they don't knot up , thus spending lots of time unknotting them.
