It was a bit tricky to install as the top cover doesn't leave much space for everything. But after some time and a few swear words I managed to make it all fit.The bulbs I bought were ES/E27 LED 5W GOLF. These fit fine and produce plenty of light. I'm sure you'd be able to fit larger bulbs but I'm not sure how much larger. I love the timer aspect of the fan and I have no doubt when the hot weather descends this summer it will pay for itself in no time.The only thing that would make this product better is if the light was dimmable...In short recommended product, 2 thumbs up :-)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 March 2021Nice looking fan, VERY quite, tricky to build up, very hard to get the wires etc. insideTo fit the blades to the fan, you need some kind of screw grabber (see pictures) as the screws and washers have to be lowered 5cm through a small hole before they can be screwed in.The glass dome is not very big, it can hold 2 x E27 bulbs, but they must be small bulbs. It says max 40w, so to get the max lux output, you will need to use compact low energy bulbs (see pictures)Fitting the wires and controller inside the ceiling dome is VERY hard. Other reviewers have reported this, I was lucky to be able to access the wiring from my loft, and pulled as much of the wiring as I could up into the loft, but even so it is really tight to get all the wires and controller inside the ceiling dome.The fan blades are reversible, 1 side is white, the other side has a dark wood effect.We wanted a quite fan and this is VERY quite, but I do not have a dB meter to quantify that. I hope that it stays this way after a few months of use.The switch for the Summer / Winter rotation direction change is located under the lower dome (just above the blades) it has 2 direction arrows.I have not tried to use the timer mode yet.It does look good when fitted and we are happy with it.

It adds that extra glam to the not ready room. No complaints from the electrician that put it.I will return to edit the review once I start using it.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 April 2021Wiring up takes patience and if you like square pegs in round holes this ticks the box !!Very fiddly to wire up, this product could do with having a redesign in making the area that holds the wiring loom a little larger !! It’s a very tight fit for the electrics in the housing other than that it looks good and works well. It’s not a quiet as it proclaims but it’s not excessive either during high speed.

- What colour are the blades please.We have a white fan, its blades are white on one side and on the edges. The other side has a dark coloured wood effect
- Have read somewhere else that pressing the light switch on the remote more than once changes the light brightness, can anyone confirm this please?I have tried pressing the light switch on the remote more than once with the remote. All that does is turn the light on or off. It does not dim the light.
