- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 20212nd purchase - dismal failure. 1st purchase - This comes in kit is without any instructions at all.2ND UPDATE - I ordered another Spider chandelier, the last order had a few parts missing, needed to complete it. This order, though it arrived on time and sealed in new packaging, it was again incomplete. This time ONLY the basic cables with attached light fittings and metal chandelier base were present in the package - THERE WERE NO OTHER FIXTURES OR FITTINGS AT ALL PRESENT IN THE PACKAGE and still no instructions. Another item being returned.Are any of these items actually fit for purpose & sale ?1st UPDATEI am having to return this item after all, due to not all the parts needed being there. It is missing the domed metal ends that need crimping to hold blue & brown wires together and the heat shrink tubes to cover the metal domes.When I ordered this, I made a major error; not checking the feedback that others had left and then rereading the item description thoroughly. It does say in the description that it needs assembly. But, like others have said; IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY INSTRUCTIONS. There are other sellers of similar products with 2, 4, 6, 7 & 8 or more 'arms', and as far as I can see some come with very basic instructions, some with a short video and others with no instructions at all - like this one. I was going to return this item, but after doing some research online and watching a couple of videos, I think I can DIY it together myself, and make a good job of it. So the choice is yours. On youtube, if you look for "spider chandelier assembly" there are several videos of how to assemble many different spider ceiling lights. Good luck.

No electrical connection just bare wires, needs a chokka block or similar purchasing to complete installation. I am paying an electrician to install this.Zero instructions included. If I could I would request a partial refund for the damage as I will have to spray paint over the damage. Get what you pay for I guess
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 April 2020Great product - just no instructions!I think it's fairly normal to include instructions - no matter how obvious the installation process might be - with a product, so that's the one thing amiss with this. Other than that, great. There's a similar product from this company that's all black and that listing DOES include instructions in the sample photos, which I used so I could be sure I was doing the right thing with this.

Even worse, it leaves it completely to the customer to figure out how to connect all the wires. This will lead to a lot of unsafe installations! Very riskyAlso, apart from any terminals the central screw to put the whole thing up is missing. Very disappointed

All lights are separated and must be joined into one using connectors or soldered etc. There are no instructions at all.

Seller great!Item arrived damaged (probably in transit as it was in a bag, not a box) but seller was top class and issued a refund. Looks great and if it wasn’t damaged I would’ve been completely delighted with it. Will shop for their products again as seller can be trusted.

Unfortunately it had to be wired up and was not a job for somebody without a bit if knowledge of wiring. However now it’s up it’s great. Lights up a room no problem. It’s very big so other buyers will need to consider the size of the room.

Probably my ignorance but I expected it assembled internally so that I could install like a chandelier and wire it to my ceiling, but actually none of the internals are connected.

- Is this dimmable ?If you bought dimmable lamps then yes, it’s directly wired it doesn’t use drivers. It also looks awesome and we have 6 less squirrel cage lamps in daylight and it’s bright!!
- Would this be suitable for in the kitchen?Unless your kitchen is massive. Its was so big in my living room we actually tied knots in the rope so it didn't spread out as much. Gorgeous light for the price looks so professional.
- how long is each rope from centerThey are about 2m each. I cut mine back to the length required. They all need wiring together anyway so no extra hassle.
