- can we use dimmable g9 bulbs for this?I have used non dimmable LED bulbs in mine but as long as you don't exceed the recommended bulb wattage in the description, whether they are LED or non LED, dimmable or non dimmable will not matter. remember dimmer switches for LED bulbs are different than for standard halogen / incandescent bulbs.
