A bit brighter than I thought, Which was OK for the hallway so I personally wouldn't use it in a bedroom since I prefer dimer/more subtle lights. But that's just about each one's taste.Also, pretty easy to install even for a total newbie like me.

That said, it is worth putting up with to get this light mounted. I brought this light for my bathroom based soley on other people's reviews hence now returning the compliment. Once fitted the light looks stunning in our newly decorated bathroom. Much more light due to it being an L.E.D light but it looks so much classier also, very sleek and very chic. Excellent value for money and I'll definitely recommend to people. I intend to buy a few more of these lights for various areas of my house A+++++

Instructions in the box say not to install in damp areas. Aside from that, it is very poor quality and cheaply made. Sent it back for full refund.
