  This is an excellent unit - attractively antique, very well made, easy to fit with all necessary parts. Delivery was prompt and the item was exceptionally well packaged. If this is the style of mixer tap that you want, this can be highly recommended.

  This brass/ceramic tap looks lovely; that’s the positive out of the way. These contraptions are a pain to install at the best of times, but this thing was a nightmare. I had to tighten the fixing nut underneath the sink before connecting the water pipes as you can't access it otherwise. However, as the top water spout thing is so tight to turn, it ended up causing the fitting to come loose from the sink. So… undo the water pipes, retighten and then reattach the water pipes. But it turns out that the rubber band gasket is not large enough for the tap hole in the sink. Luckily I still had the old tap knocking around so I reused a rubber ring from that to create some sort of grip between the sink and the base of the tap, and reinstalled. It’s what you might call a bodge job but I’m past caring now it’s in. You still need two hands to turn the spout despite fiddling with the tiny screw that appears to be the method of loosening it, but I’m guessing as the instructions are awful. Oh, and the instructions consist of around ten tiny diagrams. Sadly each diagram seems to be for a different product. Next time I’ll muzzle up and go back to B&Q.

  Although the tap did look nice, felt heavy and sturdy. When it arrived it had the metal gasket missing that sits under the sink for the nut to tighten up to to secure the tap to the sink. I contacted the supplier regarding this missing part via email and they were insistant that this part is not needed and everything was perfect in the pack. You try tighten a nut up to a thin rubber gasket uder the sink to secure a tap !! All I wanted was for them to send out the metal gasket that is even shown in the fitting instructions !! After numerous emails back and forth they advised me to go to my local hard ware store and purchase one and they would refund me £5 !! The tap was sent back the next day and I purchased a much better quality tap for around the same amount from Wickes !! The tap was also quite tight to swivel so not sure how long the correct fixing gasket / nut would last anyway.

  The handles unscrew and fall apart easily

  I’ve had this tap for a little while now. The tap looks very nice but breaks (unscrews) very easily.One of the handles has unscrewed and won’t screw securely back on. The the ends of the taps (the little metal caps) unscrew too and worn screw in tightly enough to to stay on.

  Don’t buy these taps

  Firstly the thread fixing on the bottom of the tap was too close to the pipes to enable use of a tap socket. Also many of the threaded fixings of the tap assembly keep coming loose. Looks very stylish but absolutely rubbish.

  Great product! It was pretty straightforward to install and looks classy. We installed it on our farmhouse sink and we love the contrast.

  The picture shown is not what I received it was impossible to fit.It was like a kitchen tap on a bath with two water connections and not one as picture shown.But I would say that the tap was excellent quality but not for my needs so I’m returning it to amazon for a refund

  Really pleased with this tap. The levers are much easier than having to turn handles especially as I have osteoarthritis

  The taps are beautiful. The levers do require tightening periodically as they undo (at least twice a week). My tap sprang a leak in the main body and constantly leaked. I contacted the supplier as I assumed that there was a 10 year warranty (as written in the description),only to be told basically it was not their problem and that I should get it repaired locally. I would not buy from this seller again as they balantly lie in their product description. Give this one a miss and put the £50 to buy better taps from a reputable company.

  Not standard fit

  Absolutely gutted about this tap. It arrived in a lovely box, was heavy and appeared exactly as we wanted. Unfortunately, it is not a standard fit kitchen tap and as such didn't fit on the sink. We've used it hanging off for a week whilst we found an alternative.
