Nice BUT there are some issues you should be aware of.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 February 2020
Bristan have a reputation for quality and this is a quality tap. It is heavy and ultra shiny and the finish is excellent. The three way valve is smooth and the water stream is gentle with a choice of jet or shower.HOWEVER there are a number of issues you should be aware of. Firstly the tap is enormous. Not only is it tall so you need plenty of height to accommodate it but the diameter of the spout is bigger than average so it looks big and heavy. If you have a small sink this tap will look overpowering. Secondly and perhaps the most important is the pull out system. The system works on a weighted principle. A heavy roundish weight is fixed to the movable pipe and this rises up and down as the tap is pulled out.It requires plenty of room to work. If you have restricted space be careful. If you have a number of pipes in the vicinity of have no room to direct the flexi tails out of the way, then you will find the weight as it rises and falls will hit the restrictions and will not work properly. Most mono bloc taps have just two flexitails underneath, this has four, the two supply tails but also a common mixer tail supply and return so there are a number of restrictions to avoid. If you also have say a dishwasher and washing machine pipework you may have a problem moving all this pipework out of the way of the weight.. I had this problem but managed to solve it by surrounding the rise and fall tails with a length of plastic so it had a clean smooth passage up and down. The next issue is the flexitails. There appears no way of removing these for replacement. They are factory fitted and are buried deep in the tap body with no way to access them. Most flexitails will not last a lifetime, they are prone to leaking. Only a small flimsy "O" ring forms the seal and they are known to leak over time so this may render the tap useless. Something to think about. Two more things. The instructions are deficient with regards to the size of the mounting hole required. It makes no mention. You can't easily measure it unless you have a pair of inside callipers. Trying to contact Bristan is a nightmare. After an hour of trying I eventually spoke to someone and discovered the hole size is between 34mm and 38mm..Finally as said trying to contact Bristan is a nightmare. Their chat facility on line does not work and their auto response telephone line is so confusing with menus and sub menus you may be inclined to give up and return the tap. Hope this helps.

    Quality Control issue
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 November 2018
This tap has a flexible hose which we much prefer to the sort which pulls out and down. It’s both functional and stylish and feels very solid. However...We had it installed by a plumber as a part of other work he was doing for us and, about five minutes after it was in place, it developed a leak. The plumber traced the leak to a faulty braised seal on an internal part which we asked him to solder over. Probably, that has invalidated the warranty but it was preferable to being left without a tap.Now that it’s working, we’re pleased with the tap. It’s good to use and has enhanced the look and workability of the kitchen but we’re disappointed by the quality issue, especially as it’s not something you can recover from quickly when buying online.

Good tap, but issues with temperature control at low flow rates
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2020
Generally a good tap and I agree with the other positive reviews here.BUT, for us it has a major flaw - when the temperature mixer is set in the middle and high flow rate (for example to fill the bowl with warm water) and then the flow rate is reduced (without changing the mixer) the temperature spikes right up to hot. So there seems to be a problem with the mixer that can't regulate the hot and cold water properly as the flow rate is changed. We have small kids who like to 'help' washing up, so need a low flow rate at a consistant warm temperature. We have had times when we reduce the flow rate (to prevent splashing the kids) and suddently the water is suddenly too hot for them. Not very safe.We really like the flexible hose but will be returning the tap and will try a similar model from a different manufacturer.

    Superb Quality
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2019
This item is 5* quality! Bristan are very well known for the quality and this doesn't disappoint. The workmanship on this is fantastic. It is a robust strong item while still being very classy and modern. It would look perfect in any kitchen and the pull out mechanism is superb to clean big pots or trays. I like the option of changing the stream from shower spray style back to normal flow as well.

Well worth every penny - I love it !!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 June 2020
This has to be my favourite thing in the whole of my new kitchen!! It’s amazing !! I have to admit I was a little bit dubious about whether it would stay in place in any position but wow does it !! Really easy to fit and the pressure on the spray setting is great. The flexibility means I can fill a mop bucket without having to put it in the sink - or I can and bend it to the correct position. I highly recommend this tap - it’s well worth the money and exceptional value for money for its versatility and functionality.

    Love this tap.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 December 2018
This tap is as near perfect as I could wish. Very clean and efficient to look at, and to use. No splash, great shower function at the flick of a button. Points anyway, absolutely anyway you want (watch out for jokers in the house hold) and stays there until you move it back. The tap also swivels from sink to sink effortlessly. It is a doddle to clean, and the plumber said it was a doddle to fit.

    Stylish and sturdy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2019
Bought this for an XL kitchen sink as our previous tap seemed tiny and was not really comfortable to use. This one is really big, so make sure you have enough height especially if you've got wall units hanging above the sink. The hose is very sturdy and the switch between shower and stream works even with very weak water flow, which I was comfortably surprised with. Installation was easy, everything you need except tools is included in the box. I was also quite pleased with extra long connection hoses, so you can easily sort out water connection in a narrow unit.
