The plates were undamaged.The plates themselves are vibrant and fun. I hand wash all of my items and so, I have been careful with them.They have not chipped nor has the paint worn away.They are indeed microwave safe.I would recommend this product to my friends and family.I would purchase another one if this one ever became damaged.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2021Poorly packaged.Arrived in a box only slightly bigger than the plates. Made that dissapointing "tinkle" sound when delivered. Small hole on the top possibly from an impact. Opened box to find a very thin layer of bubble wrap covering each plate which doesn't seem to have protected these fragile plates. Each one was smashed to a varying degree. Very sad as they looked vibrant and much better than my current white dinner plates.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 April 2019Beautiful individual pieces & overall lovely setI bought the pet bowl to see the quality etc...also my partner pulled a face at ‘rainbow kitchenware’ he thought it would be tacky and too girly...WE were both very impressed! Ordered almost the whole range later that day and therefore my comments will be pretty much copy & paste: all the pieces are beautiful...pure ‘quality, quirky, luxury’ ...Have not used them yet although other reviews saying dishwasher/microwave safe are what helped me decide on these purchases...I think we will be hand washing these beauties to look after them ;)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2017Sick of white I'm getting my colour on.Lovely colourful, heavy plates, such good quality.I am so fed up with white and neutral coloured things, I'm changing up to colour again.These are perfect and I'm going to add Bowles, teapots and side plates.Friends came round yesterday and said the same thing "done with boring whites!" and they loved my new plates.

Note that only the inside is in colour as the outside is plain beige/off white. Ordered the bowls separately but those appear to be taking ages to arrive.

I hope that there is more stock soon so I can expand the set and replace. (God forbid) should one get damaged. Totally microwave, dishwasher and me safe. I am adding more pieces to complete the set and enjoy eating my meals and drinking my drinks from such amazing and unique pieces of crockery

Customer questions and answers
- Is this stoneware or earthenware? reason i am asking is i am wondering how prone they are to chipping (stoneware is stronger) xDoesn't say, I'm guessing earthenware. But no sign of any chipping so far. They've been used daily and in and out of the dishwasher.
- Are these rainbow colours on the top and the bottom of the plates?Ours on the top only. Plates are green underneath.
- Are they oven proofPersonally I would not put the plates in the oven but I have put them in the warming drawer just to warm up the plates for a few minutes
- Do these plates have a dip for sauce?Hi just checked my plates. Yes there is a dip towards the centre of the plate and good lip around the edge to avoid spillages. However, I find myself using the windhorse pasta bowl as plates more frequently too. Both good quality and functional.
