Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 April 2020Really good purchase!I must say at first I thought it was a bit expensive for a dish drainer, but since I didn't like much any of the alternatives I decided to go for this one and I'm super happy of the purchase! The color matches perfectly my kitchen counter. The plastic drip under the drainer works really well and most of all it protects my counter so that I don't have to clean it every time to remove water stains and limescale. The overall design of the product is beautiful and clean.I've been using it for a week now and it is very sturdy and stable. It is not much big, so it will not accomodate a lot of dishes and pans, but since we already have a dishwasher we needed this drainer only for when we wash few things by hand.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2021Highly Appealing, but...I purchased this Dish drainer as I had to replace a previous metal based dish drainer, which was started to get extremely rusty within the corners. As a result of this Dish Drainer purchase I was not disappointed, as the metal drying rack sectionwas of a decent and matt silver type of finish; engaging and extremely contemporary, this complimented the colours within my kitchen, e.g. black, grey, white and silver. Therefore I got a very cleansed and fresh feel from this dish dryer. Moreover the base tray underneath the dish rack sits comfortably and satisfactory; capturing any extra free flowing water which drips from the remained of the plates/dishes, which follows a path to drip back into the sink. This is a very efficient process as you are not left with those really inconvenient 'puddles' of water which can be very intimidating and cause the water to spread throughout the kitchen and even drip on the floor, but with the tray element of this dish drying rack, this has never been an occurrence for me. So I felt very relieved and highly satiated!Furthermore as the description says, this drying rack also comes with an practical, user-orientated and functional two compartment separation cutlery holder. This is used at the edge of the dish wash rack, and is has a 'clip-on' feature, which prompts that high user-friendly function, meaning that you can easily lift up and take off this additional piece as and when needed. My one complaint about this section is that the holder appears very micro, but does seem to fit a larger volume of cutlery than it seems. My rating has been given due to the price, and for what this dish drying rack actually is; was priced quite high, considering the tray beneath is made of a simple, but practical plastic, which makes me question the overall value for money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 September 2020Neat and capaciousI'd been looking for a new dish drainer for some time. Put in hours of research on Amazon to track one down - I've spent less time decided what car to buy! This fitted the space I had available perfectly. It is very light, but sturdy. Easily accommodates a range of different size plates, including square and oval, plus a large amount of cutlery. After a couple of days I dispensed with the drip tray as my sink unit has a natural slope built in - the plastic coating on the legs keeps it securely in place.Overall an excellent product at a fraction of the price of the fancier 'designer' versions.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 April 2021A nice productI returned this simply because it was not suitable for our drainer(my wife was;t happy with it ).There was noting wrong with it ,it was a nicely made stand.I did the measurements but it just was't right for us.Some times u can try and visualize a product but its not always the same as actually seeing it in place. Not a fault with the product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2020Surprised meI looked for ages for a drainer that I liked. You would think this should be an easy decision but I was being particular. I found this one, put it in my basket then kept searching. I put a couple different ones in my basket and by process of elimination stuck with this one. When I opened the box I thought BIG mistake but I had already thrown my old one away and to be honest just thought I couldn't be bothered to send it back. After having it for about 2 weeks now I am really glad I kept it. It's very light but surprisingly doesn't topple over when I put in large dishes, it looks nice, it's sturdy. I think it was a good purchase and I am happy with it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 June 2021Medium sized but practicalBought to supplement a newly installed Franke sink unit. I actually use this from the worktop to the main sink. Due to it having a separate drip tray with a lip to allow drained water to flow, it’s practical and easy to keep clean. Nice aesthetic design also. The cutlery holder works well too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2021Aluminium so lightweight but doesn't rust and is strong and wide enough to hold 11x1" platesLovely drainer, I was sick of allegedly 'stainless' steel ones rusting so this is great, as being aluminium it doesn't rust. It does make it lightweight but it's strong and wide enough to hold my11x1" plates!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2020Modern designThe design is really modern & is the same colour steel as my sink/draining board. My only criticism is that the outer frame should be slightly higher giving large dishes/bowls/saucepans support. It's very neat & is the right size for my use!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2021Compact,neat drainerLove it.sits nicely on my sink drainer.compact, like the aluminium colour.plates and crockery fit well into it and the draining mat beneath, catches the water and it goes into sink.no mess at all.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2021As described by the manufacturerOrdered yesterday and delivered by royal mail today, how can you beat that.Product looks good quality, made in China as usual, hopefully it stands the test of time.
Customer questions and answers
- Does cutlery water drain into tray?Yes but dosnt always drain off the tray so you can sometimes get a soap scum on tray. I just wash the tray every couple of days to clear it
- Will it be rustyNo, it's aluminium so chemically can't rust. I've had 2 for about 3 years ang they are fabulous, look just as good as new! (Oh, and we have these really heavy plates from Tesco that have a thick rim perpendicular to the base and it holds them up easily which I wasn't sure if would, being lightweight aluminium).
- what is the exact size size of drip tray only please?44cm incl the draining lip, 31.5 cm wide. Hope this helps.
- I have a Howdens sink - hope this fits it ok? Measurements are tight it seems..Fits perfectly on mine, it is 16 and a half inches Long and 12" wide. Hope this helps but it is very thoughtfully designed.
