- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2020This drainer is designed for the righthand side...This drainer is sturdy, well made, but ill conceived. First of all the plate holders are angled so if you place this to the left of your sink the plates lean backwards towards you, which feels odd. Hence this drainer working best on the right hand side of your sink. Secondly, any drainer does need to sit on a surface with an incline otherwise it does not 'drain', the water sits beneath it and makes a puddle. With this in mind the when you do place this on a draining board with a gradient the plates lean too far over as the plate holders are at far too much of an angle. The last thing I would say is that for the price and the size it would have been good to have had one set of plate supports going in the opposite direction so as to stand a large cutting board or tray. Hence this item hasn't really been thought out or designed but is just a nicely welded item from the workshop. To conclude, there is a real lack of good drainers and draining boards on the market that happily deal with wet dishes dragged from the sink and placed to dry effectively so that all the water goes back to whence it came.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2021Expensive but qualityAfter an initial concern over the damaged plastic cutlery container , possibly during transit(replaced speedily and without cost by the seller - also checkfor missing rubber feet too as these tend to puncture the cardboard box) the complete item looks great and is perfect for my needs. No more dishes and glasses sliding around on the draining board. It's expensive compared to other racks but is very robust and sturdy, no worry about plates toppling over and the high edge basket means everything stays in place. Actually brought a smile to my face. I need to get out more!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 June 2020Amazing!!!This is the king of all washing up racks! Firstly it's grade 304 stainless steel (important) as it won't rust. Secondly it's sturdy and very robust and thirdly it is an excellent size to fit all the dishes in, after a large sink wash up.I would highly reccomend this product!Do yourself a favour today, forget the plastic racks, forget the flimsy wire racks which start rusting after a week. Spend the money, get this rack, be happy forever! It's that good!! You will not regret it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2017Good quality, just a small minus...Delfinware Stainless Steel Traditional Large Drainer I used to own the plastic-coated version and it served well for years until the plastic began to wear off in places. It's so nice to have stainless steel that doesn't rust like the chrome-plated ones do.However, there is something about the angle of the "uppity bits" on this drainer that makes them less effective at holding up plates etc securely - I feel that they should tip back just a little more.Am pleased with the product tho.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2019Excellent quality, very largeVery sturdy and heavy enough that it won't slide around or topple over, great quality, looks nice, easy to keep clean and I'm sure it will last well. The stainless steel version is expensive, but substantially better than the cheap rubbish offered at most hardware stores. It's big though so measure carefully before purchasing. The medium size may be a better fit for most sinks.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 October 2021Nice large drainer glad they still existVery pleased this style and size of dish drainer is still being made. Replaces old white plastic coated one that has done good service. Thought I would try stainless look this time and am not disappointed - should give years of good service. Only downside with choosing stainless steel is I live in a very hard water area and white water marks do show.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2019Very sturdily holds heavy dinner plates upright - excellentWe'd been looking for a strong, large stainless steel dish rack for a long time and then saw this on Amazon. We find white and chrome racks soon rust so were only looking for stainless steel. This is perfect with very strongly designed, properly spaced plate holders. It's just perfect!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2020SturdyPerfect fit on a standard Stainless steel board. The rubber feet keep the drainage rack sturdy and avoids it scratching the steel. The only issue is the cutlery box cannot be properly attached to it. (It arrives loosely attached with a plastic tie). Due to higher cost, I expect this rack will last a long time without rusting.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2021Great Dish drainerHolds my heavy plates well and is solid on our draining board and doesn’t tip. The design is good and it won’t be difficult to clean like or old plastic one. Very good quality and British made. I’m hopeful it will last a long time. Arrived well packaged.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 August 2020A really smart drainer. This drainer looks really smart. We've been using it for a while now and it still looks good. Good quality metal. It has little clear plastic feet which means the metal legs don't scratch the draining board. The white plastic cutlery drainer is rubbish. I bought a metal one which clips on to the side instead.
