The handles are round and nice to the touch, the blades are thin enough so it feels comfortable and light to use. It is razor sharp out the box as I see a few reviews mention.The Damascus layers look good and are as mentioned by kasumi, much like clouds. The blade reflects the light nicely. They come in a nice cardboards display box too.I am very pleased with them and would recommended. They are also cheaper than buying separately.
